  1. Top Work there, Manifold looks the business. 8) More enough equal length to the flange, the wastegate should be interesting. Have you trial fitting it to your car? just to make sure the bonnet shuts, looks to be ok thou. What grade material are you using?
  2. Sorry i meant the actual rocker cover, not the plastic DOHC. im guessing the later vr6's came with plastic covers? will be bugging my local dealer very soon :)
  3. Hi, Im looking to put a plastic rocker cover on my 94 Corrado, ODB1. Just wondering if any1 has any part numbers? nothing wrong with my metal existing 1, but i have heard via search on vr6oc, that the plastic 1's are more quiet? thanks
  4. Don't know how you got that intercooler in there, good luck with the rest of the build, looks good.
  5. Top work on the placement of that cooler, theres just no space down there... its a shame that turbo manifold didn't work out as smoothly, but that is a Huge Turbo...
  6. Yes mate I do that's why I want to redrill them so they fit better. I only had them on the car for 2 days because they constantly rubbed and after I took them off you could see where they scrubbed the arches. Talking about ridiculous, have you seen anything as wild as this ona Corrado before:  10J !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guilty my old wheels, which can be seen on a Black TT last i remember. they did rub the rear archers at motorway speed, only slightly thou. Sold for engine upgrades 8) more pics on my members thread...
  7. Yeah i still have mine in my bedroom, still in Subaru Gold  205/45's look ok on your car, i probably will try 205/40 as i want to go lower. But my main concern was if they would fit over some 312 discs, but clearly from the pics it does 8)
  8. Nice wheels, i got the same set, mine came off a Subaru. just wondering what tyre size have you got on them? im looking to get 205/40/16, should be enough so i can lower it alot
  9. i need to upgrade my camera phone :) nice pics, do like the G60
  10. brave cleaning the car in this cold... car wash for me  looks fresh thou...
  11. If your still un-decided... take a look at some of the cars on these sites, they seem to favour the intercooler choice, tbh i think the germans seem to like the intercooler option, whilst a few cars from the states on the vwvortex forum definitely use the chargecooler option... http://www.materialmord.de/start.htm http://www.pph-motoring.de/index.php?section=main&last_section=main depends on what you want, with that XS power cooler you can end up with less intercooler piping, so in theory it should help the car be lag free  but as you said intercoolers our much simpler 8) Tony
  12. nice work, shouldn't have much traction problems now.
  13. good luck with that custom inlet manifold, there is just no space at the front of the engine bay in a corrado...
  14. The turbo is a t3/t4oe, 50AR inlet and 82 or 84 AR outlet, from memory  Heres a pic of the turbo manifold exactly same to mine, but think this one is used on a 24v model.
  15. Heres a pic of my outlet manifold, kinda loops up and supported with a support mount that i manage to fabricate, which takes a load of the manifold... Seems to work well, but as you can see you cant use the stock inlet mani  Tony
  16. really like the paint work on this car... 8)
  17. i also failed my MOT on my brake pipes, corrosion on the rear both sides, so i had replace them both, now using copper...
  18. don't hide the turbo, and polish the compressor housing
  19. no the cams do not have to be removed to get the head off...
  20. good work, 178k!!! this is why i love the 12v engine :)
  21. could be wrong here, but i didn't think you could fit new lower chains with out removing the gearbox. As its hard to see the timing marks, as long as its timed properly then its ok, but you don't want to re-do the work again.
