its not that bad...is it?? :wink: Since I bought my car in September, it seems that one thing after another has gone wrong/needed replacing. Just when something is fixed and I'm happy something else starts making wierd noises!! But then I get in it and drive it and a big smile appears on my face :D and I forget all about how much I said I hated it!!

yep, mine do this too, maybe its just another one of the lovely 'quirks' that the corrado has!

I've got one....... One day my boyfriend was jacking up my car using a trolley jack. It didn't look too stable to me so I lean down and point at it and say 'that doesn't look too.....(BIG CRUNCH).... safe'. Bloody jack had slipped and I now had a big dent in the sill of my car :x . Luckily this was my previous car, not my rado. Moral of this story.......Make sure the trolley jack is stable!!

My local council will pick up cars for about £30, however they'll only do it once but they'll pick it up in whatever state because they picked up my other half's gti that was stripped and had no wheels etc

I was driving between MK and Bedford on Saturday and someone in a fiesta was pointing and waving at me/my car........obviously wishing they had a rado not a fiesta!!!

Downside? I would say that not noticing new chips and dents is an upside. I hate washing my car because it makes me depressed about the chips and dents. :( I try not to wash it too often then I can't see the chips under the dirt :)

Yeah apart from that bloody scratch she is in good condition. There's been some little niggles that have all been sorted. Knew I'd forget stuff......Just had new ball joints on front. Last month oil and filter change too.

1991 (J) 1.8 16v 134K Part Service history New Battery New front discs & pads grey cloth interior - V. good condition no rips etc Original alloys refurbed Has got a 10" sub and amp ( but will probably take out before selling) Probably some other stuff that I've forgotton..... Want to get about £1600 .....do you think that's reasonable?

It really is a DEEP scratch, not a Tcut or coloured polish job. I don't really know if I've got the patience or the skill to rub down and fill with primer etc. :(

I know thats the point, mine isn't lowered and scrapes in multi story car parks and the car park at work, so if it was lowered it would be even worse.......

Hey Rado-Girl, Welcome to the forum. I've got a BSc in Animal Welfare & Management. Graduated last July, still can't find a job though...... Getting back on topic.......my most embarrasing moment is laughing at some dude in a crappy car (can't remember what though) with a sticker saying 'bad ass boys have bad ass toys' and then stalling my car behind him :oops: -

Stupidly, I bought it with the scratch on it already, I think the bloke that sold it to me probably did exactly what you're saying because he let me knock £400 off the asking price! Corradowales, its VR6 time, how did you know?

I want to sell my car (1.8 16v), but unfortunately it has a biiiggg scratch all the way done the side. Do I sell the car with the scratch and take less than I want for her or do I respray in which case I won't get back the money I paid for the respray. I'm in a lose-lose situation, what should I do??

Can anyone recommend any bodyshops in the Bedford/MK/Peterborough area? The time has come to sort the scratch out, just want one side resprayed where it's been keyed, and possibly (depending on price) the other door to get rid of the chips.
