Has anyone cut down their 90mm spoiler? - done it

there a massive indented drain cover from me that makes the splitter hit, not to mention wamming your suspension. its just after the brow of a hill in a 50 limit, and ive reported it 3 times to the council over the last yr 1/2!! id been waiting for it to happen and it did a few months back, a copper following me. so stuck to my routine and stopped with my right indicator on waiting for stuff coming towards me to clear. copper nearly rear ended me, but i waited and calmly pulled right round it when it was clear. Got pulled and he went absolutely ape at me. I explained about writing to the council and that i wasnt going to destroy my car for him or anyone else after the money we give to run out cars in this country. he didnt really have much to say after that. one of the most enjoyable momments :-) -

i just put 2 wheels on the pavemement, just have to watch out for kids, lamposts and men in black. I have a real things about speed humps. they dont need to be that savage and there are plenty of very low standard cars that should be able to get over them. so i go round them as i do pot holes. we pay so much for our roads, and then they waist money on stuff that doesnt slow down the people killing 4x4s driven by mums on there mobile phone and spend no money on big holes that kill bikers. make your own rules i say -
Does look a little rough roudn the edges, but if it works its a third the cost of the daddy schimelski? Swings and roundabouts....

Quickest car you've been in, owned and most interesting....

havnt been in a scooby, been in a standard gto which was toury/thrusty but not mega quick. come on then, who else i want to here more stories of face ripalage :-) -
ive seen a couple that look right with subtle side skirts, and a few that look good with the RS front bumper eg henny's. Best all the rest s.ck in my book, not good. but its personal taste. i think the C is unusually classy looking for a small hatch effectively. its hard not to lower the tone with plastic bits imo

have to agree, your seats are very impressive indeed, almost as impressive as that awsome silver box of spine tingling noise under your bonnet! I think you need to post a vid clip of some charger blipage mate !?

Shoudl take you to one side and tap it all in with you, which means it goes straight to the head office when they hit a key. Im halifax, and although the girl had never done one we sussed it no probs and they gaurantee the payment will go out that day if you go in before 1pm. if head office are unsure they will call you first, they make sure its a real bank account at the other end and all the details stack up, or they will come back and ask for more specific info. Suspect Abbey will be exactly the same. Southamptons much bigger than Salisbury/Andover, so theyve prob done a lot more in your branch too

first one i did i had no confidence in, but it went through fine. The iban makes it easier for your bank, but i havnt had one yet and have still had no problem. Just saves them checking the bank/sort code at the other end or something? I just walked into my bank, sat down with someone and we rattled through 4-5 screen figuring out what was what. It then pings to there head office and where someone who does them all day long picks it up and sorts it. If theres anything missing or any prob they will phone you straight back the same day anyway. Its easier than you think. Have you sorted a delivery co or del price yet??

No problemo bud. Then you can here all the rattles and tappetty noises and change your opinion! -
search did'nt find anything although i'm sure this must have been done, but lots of new faces on here this year. Whats the quickest accelerating car you've ever been in, owned and most interesting car you've experienced......... 457bhp cossie escort for me, very quick but quite horrid too. Felt impossible that it could do what it did without breaking something, which it inveribly did  quick none the less. Ferrari Mondial sticks in my mind A because i was in a ferrari and B because it was gutless, weezy and a bit pants! Very dissapointing. 911 for the brakes. My dads friends Healey 3000 for torque and prob the best sound i've ever heard in my life 8) Fastest car ive owned (hopefully to change soon) 200 s14 200sx, but it felt like a plastic hair dryer that had been on a character removal course.

he reports what we all want back to VW, they all sit round nodding and saying yes yes goood, and then they completely ignore it all when building a new car as it makes them less profitable and too easy for us to repair :-) they all look good in fairness. another generic R32 powered device will not be worthy though. yes id love an r32 but it needs to be blown or r36 to provide some new ultimate coupe status. is it a corrado or rocco then or are there 2? sorry bit behind! ??

ill second that. and when you slide the headlight out they allways want to go down and out so to speak and scratch your bumper. Put somecloth between the bumper and that thin metal strip above it. it may just be me, but if its not youll thank me as i put a bl..dy great scratch on my bumper doing it the first time. im not that bright though

Proberly the rarest Corrado in existance today..

front looks like an opel manta rally car but higher, kinda squished and well a bit like gibbons a.. all round really. Shes a goer but that about all you can say.... -
put me down as a hopefully, depending on how many sets of wheels i buy off you in the meantime ;-)
-
whats the name of that french so called supercar? something 400, it escapes me. Well it looks like a cross between one of those a renault alpine and a 2cv, all of which would have been cheaper to buy instead. The Taxi, style mods are best kept to French cars, its horrid.

now thats what i'm talking about, WOW !
-
a blank canvas does'nt get to look any better than that bute! Nice car Jay, bet your loving that noise. What colour is it bud? Sooooo many things you could change inside and out the more you look at it. Again like the C though i guess it takes some thought not to lower the tone or the solid look they have about them. looks like your off to a flyer though!

has he got a mk5 company car aswell as the black mk2??
-
not that id be any use, but if lived any closer id come and give you a hand. i really want to see and here this beastie running big time. prob not as much as you though ;-)

if the bulk head fills with rubbish blocking the drain hole the water builds up in there coming off the screen and when it gets to a certain level it poors in one of the cromit holes into the cabin. Had it on a 92 passat before and that was 2-3inches in the both footwells and sh.gged my fusebox!! or as mentioned it could be the matrix if its confined to the passenger side, worth checking your colant level because if thats the problem and its 4 inches deep id think the header tank would be empty. idle on the vr6 could be a number of things: plug leads/not pushed right on or knackered. coil pack or dizzy i guess maf?? gave a mate of mine the same problems, but worth trying to find a mate with a working one to test as its a 2 min swop and they aint cheap. ecu, but very unlikely imo. dont give up on her just yet, its character ;-)
