Koni shocks and PI springs for a nice drop and superb ride. Bushes and top mounts inc rear axel bushes if they havnt already been done. If you want to carry on modding to improve the original, a rear strut brace sharpens things up, and better rear anti roll bar.

Try VAGparts in Swindon, genuine items and they are about £35 each. Top blokes too, really friendly bunch. Ive actually ordered a set which im going to pick up as they are a bad one to post! If you end up ordering some im happy to grab them for you and drop off at the next mutual show this summer if your going to any.

They look awsome Phil, but i've allways loved your old rims too. The new ones definately give it that classy solid look. Im 60/40 in favour the porkers for the classy look.

ive got an fk 4 slat plain black with the vr6 badge in the original location. i love it without the vw badge. Makes the car look plain and agressive, and you can allways add an eye brow, which i did but it flew off at 14? mph and smahes on the windscreen lol.

If Trigg offered me that kind of money i would probably sell the speedlines!! Im never happy with wheels, i love both sets but id rather have polished lips on the oettingers and i dont want to do that. A because they are in such great nick its seems stupid to start stripping the rim down, and B i really have to be sensible and start sorting out my engine. I will probably end up selling both sets i currently have, but right now the oeties are going up for sale, just doing some picks, but wanted to know what was a fair price.

if it wer'nt for porn id be on at least 5000 posts! umm anyway, my engines on its way out. went down a hill last night for about a mile on the over run and when i picked the throttle back clouds and clouds of smoke bellowed out the back, nice! It also does it when ive been on the motor way at 80-90 for ages and pull off and stop, then when i pull away yuck! Never does it if im thrashing it though, which is wierd? Im hoping that means its just the head and my bottom end is still intact!

I did this the other day bud. Kev drilled his but i didnt want holes in my metalwork. I bolted the light onto the 3inch thick bit of trim inside the car that finishes the roof lining, fed the wire under that accross and hid it under the rubber surround all the way down and out right next to the light cluster. Then just plugged it into the two standard spade connectors that are conveniently already there!! Spent 2 hrs fannying around till i spotted those though!! Can do picks now if you want, up to you. I love it, you dont know its there until it lights up! The way ive done i reckon you could crack the whole job in 30 mins tops

Anybody got any clue what these are worth before i under/over price them and embaress myself! 5x100 ET 35 8x17. Quite rare. They are literally in as new condition, its hard to beleive they have seen the road at all, genuinly! Tyres are useless as they are 215/45 zr 17 dunlop sp sports. But 2 have 7-8mm so there would be some money back there for the buyer, at least a 50 spot i would assume. Anyway, whats a fair price to start at??

where the hell do you boys get these quote from !! i've been to 4 local places to get my rear panel sprayed and stone chips including wing blend and the cheapest quote i got was 1200 with me doing all the removing and refitting!! Cheapest respray cost was 2.5k, most expensive was 3.8k £700 wtf !!??????????????????????

Crap news mate, really sorry to here this indeed. as said it certainly puts things in perspective. None of us know whats round the corner, adn i think Phat's right. Theres been a lot of bad news recently on here, and we lost our Gran last weekend. Still, chin up chappy, try to remember the good times and give him a quiet smile.

Glad your ok bud! Bit suprised to read this after seeing your impressive car related track days. Mind you, if you've only been on 2 wheels that shorter time i'm surpised your on that monster!! I did my direct access a while back, on the quiet and was well up for a CBR600RR, im too short for anything bigger lol! But a mate had a very nasty accident after 15yrs of riding and it put me off, as im bad enough in a car! Get repaired, sell it and get some forced induction in that R32! All the best for a speedy return to form though
