  2. Another 2p peice jammed between the front splitter and the ground preventing vehicular movement? mmmm, LOW!
  3. eewww, they do look better with the eye brow. arrh no, have to check the wallet. They are cheaper than originals though ar'nt they at 220?
  4. Jim, cheers bud, will send it on tonight. thinks its mucho du meglabites though!
  5. Any chance of some picks guys as i need new headlights for the mot, and im torn although money wise might have to go second hand. Would love to see them on a dark coloured C if anyone has any picks?
  6. Matt, nice to put a face to the name mate and here your long road to a virtually new car now! Looked very nice indeed. My camber isnt 100% perfect but as near as d it. Certainly feels 10 times better now. Had my wishbones replaced and a faulty new strut and then the rr set up. I was very happy but im sure one wheel still sticks out more, even though vince measured everything and confirmed my car had never been bumped! Very happy though.
  7. Well for once its nice not to be disapointed! They really have lived up to the good name, I was VERY impressed. Vince is a genious with all things C, was polite, very chatty and took the time to explain everything and show me what was going on. I now have a perfect handling, going and cambered up baby that was soooo much fun on the way home! All the guys there were very knowledgable and gave me absolutely confidence and trust in what they were doing. My car will never be going anywhere else now. Oh and 200.1bhp and 190lbft, more than happy with that! I have a great AVI of my car on the rollers if anyone can tell me were i can put it ?
  8. oh and you can buy a screen that fits onto the ps2 from joyteck for about £90! then you just need the inverter. MVC were doing these! And you can use it in the house too
  9. Dave, the kit my mate had did either. Depends what your after. My local motor factors are doing a centurion dvd player (multiregion) and a 7" tft screen with remote control for both units for £150 brand new. Not bad really, but the contrast wasnt the best i've seen. I saw a test a while back that rated one of the screens for about £80 as pretty much the best picture quality out of some that were £300. Blowed if i can remember the make, sure it began with L though! If you want it for the kidds id go the ps2 route, but if you want it for yourself i would shop around and see a few screen before you buy etc
  10. If thats a massi, you are one tall fecker mate and i hope you like the alloys or im a dead man!
  11. Hi Yan. That engines coming out mate so what do you care!! Kill it while you can!! I wait for the magic 80 everytime. Mine boggs down on full low rev throttle when cold so i have to use a gentle openning, oooo er missus
  12. Tekara gave me the name of one in Basingstoke if you want me to dig it out and send on mate?
  13. You dont need a dvd player if you have a ps2, as you can use that to play dvds and save some money? What you'll need is a screen, starting at about £70 nowadays, and a power invester to run a ps2 on 12v starting at about £30, job done. Motorised in dash screens are getting cheaper now too. Hope i ahv'nt missed the point. Check out the adds in the back of max power for big price reductions compared to rippofffords. I've used New Image Car Hifi several times and have been fab, even with a warranty claim they picked up the unit from my work next day and dropped of another free of charge (wasnt there fault). And they ar'nt grey import units either, just half the price of halfords!
  14. Eric, keep it mate, its a really nice car. I know you wont get rid of the mk1 rocco so I would advise getting shot of the later varient and keep the c and mk1. I know the later rocco is very nice, but thats what id do mate. Allen bolts are a mare. I have never EVER managed to get off any of the brake ones on any vw ever, front or rear, or brake compensators or strut tops as per my recent posts. I allways find bolt replacements as allen keys really are a pore engineering choice. Even the star bits on my plastic plug lead channels are all rounded off so even those need drilling. Will put bolts in there too. There about as much use as the springy hose clips that save vw about 0.0000000000173 pence per million vehicles, NICE ONE BOYS! Keep it, i like yours its unusual and very tidy, and they all get us down sometimes. DONT DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Cheers guys, im there! Well i will be tommorrow.
  16. Can anyone give me a breif description of how to find stealth from the M40? Thought this would be easier than waisting there time on the phone. I will be going A34 straight up to the M40 then I assume coming off at Southam but other than that I know nothing? Cheers Nick
  17. Well Chris, the side of yours looked like mirrors to me mate! So if its anything like that i will be well happy!!
  18. PM me your details mate, and ill get mine off to you
  19. Steve, unfortunately not my friend! Im going straight up the map from Andover literally heading bang on north up to Stealth, Ipswich is about 150 miles to the right. Would be possible, but way bigger than a dairy lee triangle.
  20. I have one carpark dent in the rear panel on the swage line that does my head in completely, its keeping me up at night. :x Found one guy in Southampton but been waiting over a month and no joy! Anyone know of one that is good as it looks like a borderline/challenge of a dent. Happy to drive a fair distance to get it sorted, or at least to make it look better. Anywhere on the way up/back from Stealth i could try Friday even might be a goer :)
  21. Hi guys, welcome aboard. Steve, where you based dude? I'm in the great place that is Hapshire also? Nick
  22. Kev, I would allways do that anyway and fair enough either way. I don't like people stould over me when im working. Would'nt have considered it but i've seen Hennies on the rollers there i think? Don;t know me though so it may be a no no. I allways really liked that pick of yours there with the RH's on, looked well sweet.
