  1. Actually, make that today!!!!
  2. Nice one bud, that will be useful. Will update you tommorrow!
  3. Make sure his address is up to date on his liscence! I did this and mine was'nt. I got a letter back basically laughing saying, yes you are right but your address is wrong on your liscence. They gave me a choice, theyd wave the £60 speeding fine and fine me £1000 for having an invalid liscence or I could pay the £1000 and they'd wave the speeding fine. ooops!

    16" P42

Cheers mate, I am watching the mint set! Really wanted 16s for looks, but i do like the soleez. I lied actually the 16s are et38! which is better than 42 i think?

    16" P42

What even with standard 280s? I presume if i think they look to ini or they dont clear i can space them anyways? Cheers for the advice, they are £295 with tyres! look on the bay under 16" 5x100, i quite like them! what you thinks??????????? Bearing in mind im on a seriously low budget at the mo! I want your wheels Chris! boo hoo

    16" P42

Im looking at some 16" alloys that are P42 offset. Assume that means et42. Anyway, 2 questions. Where will et42 sit in the arches, is that further out or in than et35? What are the best tyres? Im not sure of the width yet, but assume they are 6.5or 7j Cheers Nick PS: Someone buy my ronals!
  7. I like effortless ovetaking and noise. I love 5 plus cylinders for the lovely howl, and my worst motor would be something vtec you have to screem just to pull away. Nice bit of torque and a howl. Then handling WITH ride quality, then looks. Just my opinion as you say, I can apreciate peoples love for screaming race engines, just not my bag. each to there own though
  8. Strange one Dom, as those you wave at probably have no idea your an idiot LOL.. Most i wave at wave back, its a great feeling. Did get totally blanked by a girl in a grey C thismorning however ! J plate with a vr6 badge on the back, not sure if that was right either?
  9. I think so chris, my garage i would hope checked that as they said it didnt look right once fitted and re-tried. Couple of guys from here are going to have a look with this weekend, so hopefully i will post the answer sunday! Which normally involves me looking like an eedyat! Taking it easy for now until i know whats on with it!
  10. I cant wait, i think the whole forums going! Whats going on her then!?? That mean theres some compies coming up for saleage!?
  11. Have you changed your tt comps for something else or is it just my eyes and your arty picks??
  12. Joe, sweet photies bud, car looks absolutely stunning! Yep, i never park side by side for door fears, allways end on end, which im regretting having had my bumper cracked and finding out the rear is £400 plus paint etc!!
  13. yep, i get it all the time. bores me to be honest, people take the mick mainly due to the money spent vs money back argument. Quote such as "pah! i would cry if i spent £400 on an mot, cant be bothered with old cars with bills like that every year". F.c.ing muppets, most of them drive nearly new tin cans that they change every year. What they seem to miss is the fact that they prob loose at least £2000 a year in depreciation, that one hell of an mot argument.DOH !! That one allways makes me laugh! I doubt my C will ever depreciate any further now from the 4k i paid for it, most of the money spent is to highten my enjoyment anyway. Better than spending £400 a month on boose 4 times a week in the same pub like half my mates do, how boring is that!
  14. Im just childishly excited about taking my car to the man everyone raves about. Having recently discovered what VW have butchered on my car whilest pretending to do work they never did and my garage having issue with fitting stuff i have no choice now anyway. I am however completely skint and very worried about the bill. Im thinking they will be sorting everything then ill be staying in for the rest of the year looking at the car rather than driving it!
  15. Kev, its already on a fair bit more than 40nm ! I could go for 80, but that im sure would break it! Theres something inherantly wrong with the way its fitted then, although i cant beleive its poss to get something that simple wrong! He ho, add to the list Vince! Least i know its not right cheers guys.
  16. Depending on A - Your clutch control & B - Whether you intend to fit a blower later on!
  17. Oh and theres no metal on the top well a tiny diameter bit, the engine bracket sits on the red rubber yeah?
  18. VFs about £50 cheaper! So should is see some thread come through the top nut at all?
  19. as 2cc will testify you are lucky, mine are nolonger distinguishable as allen bolts, they are smooooooth, unlike the job of now removing them! Ive got a new exhaust now incase we have to cut that off !

    egged

Stab them in the brain, and explain to the police that there is no damage that was'nt already there? My dads audi coupe (85 50k!) lovely lovely got one egg thrown on the bonnet and it sat there for one day in the hot sun. It damaged the paintwork permanently. Initially it looked like it had polished off etc, but you can see its damaged the lacquer from certain engles, really gutted mate. GET IT OFF AAAAAASAP!
  21. PS im not knocking the mount here, it looks ni on ident to the VT one everyone raves about and its well solid with no dash vibration so this could well and probably will be a fitted it wrong solution! Just after some advice guys if anyones done a VF?
  22. thats hole, god my spelling s.cks big tyme!
  23. My VF front mount doesnt seem to sit quite right. well it looks fine but the bolt wont go right on the top, only 3/4s of the way up the nylock stuff!? What the hey? Also pulling away in first gives a slight kick, not sure whats going on here, anyone else fitted the VF rather than a VT???? garage fitted and refitted and cleaned out the whole even but thats as far as it will ever go in?? :? Cheers
  24. Koni TAs and H&R springs. Price made me feel faint, but its the first lowered car i've ever driven that allows your teeth to remain in place and is actually an improvement all round rather the being just cosmetic ! They ARE worth the delieross ! imho anyway.
