Cheers storm. I have just noticed that the switch is actually cracked to the left of the circular button, still not convinced its the switch. Ill get one anyway, assuming they are reasonably priced at the stealers? Or are we talking special corrado tax as usual??

I thought 4 weeks of reliable fun had to end, and they did tonight on the way home from work! Driving along main beam on and when i flicked them back to dipped everything went out! Scared the sheeehat out of me and the bloke comign towards me no doubt. I fiddled with the switch in the dash as i know these can play up but no joy, then they just came back on again when i flicked from main beam and back again. Happended about 4-5 times but now they wont come back on dipped at all. No fuses blown so where the feck do i start!! Why am i allways left in the dark

Andy, I have the same H&R/Koni set up and mine is better than i thought it would be but im still not 100% happy with it. I've also replaced my wishbones with new vag items. The only things left are the track rod ends and arb bushes so im hoping that will cure the vague feeling mine still has and the occassional feeling of crashyness. Ill let you knwo how mine feels F..ing road in this country aint helping us none either hey! Cameras everywhere and coppers ready to skin you for having slightly odd tyres, wheres the drive on braking saftey on un even roads! (oh sorry, forgot that costs them money rather than handing it too them) still its all about road saftey hey guys!

Hello mate, not sure on the 2.8/2.9 head diff. I know the inlet man is diff. Mine doesn't smoke when starting or accelerating most of the time. However, mine also smokes on prolonged over run which i've been told is typical Vr VS seals so chill. Mines on 127k now and still on its original clutch/chains etc. Oil use is there, but not too bad. It does smoke if dawdled around all week then redlined at the weekend! But only seems to do this once. Overun smoke is allways there on mine though, but only as i say on a prolonged overun down a big hill something.

I'm sure you know, but bare in mind there are 2 subtley different bumpers on the C mate. Just incase.
-
Hello. Looks like a nice C mate, good work.
-
Nice one guys, mines been sat in the garage for 4 months after i eyed it all up and gave it a wtf. Guess what im doing this weekend then. Henny, big lol on the translation mate, cracked me up

Spray the sh.t cheap black plug leads I swapped onto my wifes vento vr red before she notices i've nicked her pucker vag jobbies! No, im not joking lol. New rear bumper due to crack RH Z1 or Brock B2s Charger Oh, surpose the chains and clutch at some point, but i reckon they'll do another 120k no probs! Prob in that order !! (over the next 5 yrs!)

Wow, rather nice. My idea of perfection would be loosing the stickers though, especially the sill monsters. Not that i'd say no! Anyone fancy discussing the engine spec then, as i've missed out on that somehow. Its a turbo, but whats the spec/boost/power etc, anyone know? The first few picks come up as red x's on my pc for some reason? Sorry to be a muppet as usual..

Whats your corrado bud? Looks almost like the valve that was fitted as a recall on golf mkIIs to stop the matrix blowing. I know they gave problems if the collant was drained the valve often stuck. No idea if this was a raddo recall though. Sorry if im confusing things. Henny will def know the answer to this for you when hes back on me thinks.

Can i ask how you do that without the background changing? Or was that shop window a lot wider before??
-
Sorry, must be the welsh love in me. Heres mine on koni ta's and H&Rs. Front 61to ground or 33.5 to wheel centre Rear 62to ground or 34.5 to wheel centre bear in mind its all new and about a month old, so settlement to come, and im going to drop the rear a notch on the adjusters to level things up.

Has anyone noticed that most women sit that close to the steering wheel. Not trying to offend as those that enjoy driving (all on here) dont. We sat in the smoking room at work the other day and every single girl that drove past had there nose about 4 inches from the steering wheel. Not sure if its a security thing or what, but we were thinking it might make the airbag a danger. Plus im shorter than most girls and sit arms straight so it aint that either! Not after an ear bashing, just allways puzzles me? Sorry to scew your thread bud, but that car just reminded me of the conversation!

I think up to 7mm will fit in the channels. Or if you dont care you can have my set of mag reds for £40! plug plug......lead. Sorry i've had half a pint!
-
I beleive NGKs are standard on the VR rather than the usual Bosch, but that could be ballacks im not sure. Mine runs fine on them. Magnecore do 2 sizes, the big fat 8.5mm reds wont fit in your plastic runner bits, the smaller blue ones will but you still have to shave the plastic channels to make em bigger. Its still a squeeze. I gave up and i've got cheapo £45 set from G&S which look rubbish but mines making over 200 fairly standard so they must be working ok. Saving for a set of vag full metal enders, they are the best from what i;ve read. However, i have seen and had many people say the custom order ones for about £75 from america are the dogs, anyone got a link?? You can order any width and colour and quality looks tops. I think osv has some on his so they must be good!
-
Not sure whos joking ro not on this. But raddostorms signature pick is close to perfection in my book, so i hope thats a 2nd corrado. Personal taste as allways....

Where was this?? Must have missed the post!? All look superb, great pics indeed

No water marks as mentioned and I rate these highly. BUT.......... It says blah blah number of washes on a filter for £5 a time, yeah think not! Depends how an.l you are about washing your car and i am bad, but one filter = one wash. Same for the washing liquid that you fill it up with barely last me one wash. The water presure on the final filter mode is way too low, just comes out as a mist. I'd rather just have a filter system and do the rest as normal. But these do work and i cant afford £400 to get the house filter fitted. So still a thumbs up, it does work, just not that cheap in running costs!

Thanks guys & girls. Think i will look into the recaro cheers moonlight. I've got 2 of the creatures, however, the other one I never see. I just get big debit from my bank each month that says "CSA Client Fund". The most expensive night of my life! Anyway, nough of that, i've got a schrick to save for first!
-
No way man, i'm not going down like that! Its a question of priorities, as i have had to explain to the better half. I need practical, cheap and reliable transport to get to work, so the C is staying.
-
Before I start I must defend this question by saying its this or no C. I need to have a car seat for my 14 month old. this will be very occasional but I will need to have the option! The only way I can stomalk the thought is to have either A. Recaro writen on it somewhere B. Some trace element of leather somewhere in the mix. C. A 007 esq ejector seat botton incase of car sickness Somebody on here must have gone through this whether they are willing to admit it or not. Can anyone recommend such an item that will fit in a C and look half sporty, god! Detailed picture of said problem attached

Does some one on here now own Jims green G60? Only its one rather nice motor!

My mate has a mk2 with a 2.0 16v mk3 gti engine in. No cat and decent exhaust and chip. He did a 6.39 at the inters blowing my 6.97 out of the water but i munched him up just at the end of the 1/4. He came to stealth with me and his made 173 on their rollers which i thought was massively impressive for a valver! Its even quite torquey in the mid range, prob due to the light body. Bearign all this in mind i would think any raddo making 200bhp should be down in the low 6s. But i dont know anything about the ratios on G60s, or how accurate the inters timing gear was??
