  1. So who has the same wheel discrepency as me then? Many others?
  2. I hav'nt done any yet, but reading the posts it seems best to poly everything other than the main rear axel bushes, like you say for the passive rear steering. Cant help on experience though, unless you can wait about 2 months! Doing all mine prior to the mot!
  3. Saw a belter thismorning, lovely bright Red raddo about 10 am (late for work again). Could'nt tell which model due to closing speed! But really was sweet. Missed the wave but hit the left right indicator, and got one back.........quality.
  4. 280 seems like a lot for the original price, but im not doubting its right. In which case you've wangled quite an impressive reduction there mate. Im well in doubt and can't afford it, but cant afford not too, so come on ladies we need 5 more handbags open. Im sure stealth take credit cars! I HOPE THEY DO!
  5. Second this as the date stamped one (oiriginal 94) is revietted, new one (the one thats wider) is bolts. Happy now is im 99% sure the car i straight now, so i will sort it all when i find the money to drop it!
  6. OSV, I think its a great move, and having all these BBSers you should think about selling your RH's to me, i've been scouring the earth for a set!
  7. One of mine has been replaced, the other is 1994 vintage!
  8. I can tell you all i got to see of my pipes, but remember these are on a VR so have no idea of difference on a G60. Blue plastic pipe came up from the bulk head into a rubber hose which bolts onto the fuel rail, this being the return pipe. Black plastic pipe from the bulk head to rubber hose to the fuel rail, being the supply. Clear hose in the middle (i didnt need to touch) runs to the carbon can, being a breather. If you buy the 2 rubber hoses from vag one has blue writing on to denote its mating to the blue plastic pipe and both have direction arrows, suprisingly thoughtfull of mr Vdub. However, taking into account the price of these feckers, the blue writing was melted down saphire i beleive! I reckon the hose diam is 8mm, but the bits i bought from various souces were all diff and too loose or too tight and pinched to much where the pipes bend. So had to go with uncle vag in the end, but there was only 2 sets left in germ!! Came in 2 days though.... Lots of peeps on here ahve done this so i expect you'll get some more info on this....better than mine thats for sure, as i have no idea north of the bulkhead mate.
  9. Saw a nice blue VR ident to mine, low with nice dished loys in salisbury today, really sweet. Needs a polish though mate
  10. Sounds kinda typical to me !
  11. Sorry i won't be much help here, but i really had to give those plastic pipes some frederick to get the rubber fuel hoses off at the bulk head end when the rubber pipes went the other week. I was really worries i might end up with what you have here. Are you sure there not leaking in the bay and running down? Fuel tracks well easy and will dry up very quickly in the bay? Just a thought. I know eactly what the new pipes you need look like, as my dealer ordered the G60 ones from front to rear instead of my rubber bay pipes! Sure they were more like £60 for both, and looked better value than the fecking rubber ones for nearly a 1er !
  12. We can greath easy then, VW just up to no good again. Mines been checked double checked and is as straight as a p-stars chopper. Any news on my part no's though, as those quoted to fit mine ar'nt the same as either!
  13. Possibly its right then. Obviously much easier to spot with the big wheels. Bit sad but it really bugs me now i've noticed!
  14. Will be fitting my BMC first, one must have priorities hey !
  15. ooow, yes i do need them please GIX, your a star mate. and i've just realised that those part numbers are both different from any quote on this post.....aarrrhhh! Perhaps they are both wrong and off something else. (kinda wish it had no VAG history now!)
  16. Well my VF llooks almost identical to your VT, so hopefully as good and saved myself 30-40 of the queens. Ill let you know soon! You rated the upgrade quite highly didnt you? WISHBONES!..........IHO 407 159 LH IHO 407 160 RH Passenger side is the one that sticks, at the wheel by about 3/4 of an inch compared to drivers side. These numbers look right though yeah? So they must be designed to be different, maybe for torque steer?
  17. I bought the VF Engineering one from NS Racing thread. Solid with one poly bit at the top and it was £90 delivered. I got confussed thinking it was the VT one so i hope its not a mistake. It looks the same as yours mate? Want a picture? Dont i need a pit to get under the car for this though, have ramps but its a struggle to get the car on with out eating the chin spoiler. Just off now to get these part numbers off the wishbones, back in 10 with the numbers..
  18. How in the world of amazing events do i get a torque rench in their my friend, thats what got me scratching my bolding head? PS: Is VT & VF one in the same mount?
  19. I will get the part numbers end of week when they fit my VF mount. I'm really intregued to find out on this one! Thanks for the info, im just glad it has def not been bumped!
  20. Theres one for sale on ebay from that guy in Bath. Has all the wiring app?
  21. Kev, prob taken as read, but I'm 100% on this, put me down as a defo. I'd like one as soon as we can do this and happy to pay a few pennies more from somone who knows there stuff.
  22. Looks like the g60/vr fight fizzled out! Was feeling grumpy at work so thought id start a war, but your all too nice. All corrados rock. And if i can add another car, F1's at goodwood in that confined space........special times.
  23. Basically yes please to these........ I need a full set for both front wishbones after finding one of mine was a passat one today! I'll buy 2 vag WB's without the bushes and nail a set of these pupies. Also my rear bump stop are apparantly "MISSING"!! A. Can i get this lot B. Is this a feeler, where do i sign up!?
  24. If you really get stuck, take all the extras off it and replace them with standard ones! I've got a set of scabby old speedlines you can whack on it and im sure someone has some old cloth seats etc
