ive seen coolers on ebay for around £100 so yuoll have enough then to sort it all out, few samco hoses and a straight piece of alu and job done, thats what im hoping, doubt itll be that simple tho!! and a fmic will hide behind the grill so the missus wont no ;) thats the one i was looking at, some similar ones on ebay too, got my eye on some wheels first tho so ill see how it all works out!

was that at the wheels or fly? i think deleting the boost return does help imo, the charger stays so much more cooler which has to be a good thing, plus i like the sound now too :) im hoping to sort the fmic for about £200 all in. thats with a new ths cooler, £120. just a case of making up the pipe work yourself!! bits of samco etc the rsr wont do any harm, help things flow a little better i expect

fmic, thats what im hoping to get sorted in the next month or two. just need to sort out the pipe work. hopefully should make a difference if we have a hot summer could also delete the boost return? the charger stays so much cooler now its not sucking re-circ hot air, cool enough to touch after a good thrash, which is all a bonus i reckon! any idea what power yours is putting out as its pretty much same spec as mine! just for a comparison?

hmm, i liking that! thanks for the pic. wandering about them on a blue c now. does anyone have any advice regarding the ones on ebay? im still learning when it comes to wheels having never bought a set!

im useless with wheels and photo stuff so could somebody please be so kind as to put these wheels on my c? or is there any pics around? ive used dubmodder but looking for some more examples i used the search and only found one pic of a green c on turbo's. wheres the G60 support 8) its a worthy alternative, lower insurance group by one i think, easier tuning options, and if you mod it, chip, pulley etc youll be looking at vr power anyway! possibly more :wink: mine should be just above the 200 brake mark if your looking for power I wouldnt disregard one if a good example came along! that vr sound is gorgeous tho but i love the charger whine just as much, my advice is to just go and drive a few and see what takes your fancy :)

theres quite a bit in the search on ak's as i was looking myself but just got some highsports, majority opinion was they were pretty good, furki recommended them considering the price

ive used the search 'coilovers AND cleaning' etc but cant find a direct answer so here goes just got some FK highsports, only covered 3k so not too bad but obviously have some crud on them etc and the threads dirty im just wandering whats the best way to tackle this? wire brush? autoglym machine cleaner? and is there anything recommended to spray/rub on them to protect for the future? ive got some G-werks charger lube but i cant see that protecting, just helping to loosen up the coils? Thanks for any help, just cant wait to get them on now! ill be selling my koni top adjustables (ssk?) if anyones interested :)

Hi as per title really, ive been told they can no probs then told they cant? Im picking up some Fk Highsports 2m (cheap :)) and were originally for a mk 2 gti, used for few months? guy says they have the code g2? so will they fit? if not can they be made to! cheers craig

like the vid, agree its good to see both sides, like the flowery boot carpet :lol: but i cant say his ice install was my taste either. i love the sound of the charger but it sounded like he was holding the revs/needed to change gear? mine never sounds that much of a drone when im cruising around town? maybe he's got a really small pulley? 8)

flusted, is that using one of g-werks rs outlets or a bbm one? seems bit cheaper than the rallye outlet option?

ill be interested to see this as im looking at fitting a fmic with in the next month or two. only thing i could think of tho was a rallye u bend from the charger? then maybe a 180 degree reducer to the intercooler inlet? just worried about the positioning tho? thinking of using one of the ths coolers? but looking at the rsr outlet its possible to use this then and just place a u bend samco on there instead of the rallye outlet?

welcome to the forum bud, glad your enjoying corrado ownership! is it standard or had a few tweaks? get some pics up so we can all hava look :thumb right:

hopefully ill be able to make it down, steering columns bodge but driveable, ill keep an eye out then for the new toy!

just to say thanks for the no. john, miles came today and got the housing off after an hour and half, just driving about now with the steering column taped up as i cant afford the part from vw yet, he also says he's just bought a 944 if you were interested! may see you at the next tidy meet, thanks again for the no!
