I put a topic up earlier about all off this. I've bought some scbmidts 9x16 et15 all round to go on my vr. Think from what I've read the rears should go on fine but the fronts will be a problem. Will they physically not fit or will they fit but just rub on full lock? I've had no arch work done either? I just don't want to spend money getting 2 new tyre and then them all fitted to find I've wasted my time. I'd love to get them on tho but not at the cost of making it handle terrible or having to get the arches flAred then repainted? Cheers

Looks lovely, i bought my first vr last week after a g60, think the vr is a bit slower down the rev range, g60 had so much pull, but not much between them, absolutely love the vr burble. got mine in twilight violet too, in ,ove with the colour, pictures just dont do it justice! only made on the 94-95 models iirc? going to give mine its first proper clean 2m on my day off. hopefully start a thread. get some more pics up :D

Was a bit pre-emptive and bought the set of MLs that were for sale on here few weeks back. all 9x16 and et15. Asked seller about the fitment to a Vr6 and the fella said fine, no problems so i took his word and bought them, not his fault but im thinking now i should have checked multiple sources first but ive got the wheels now sitting all shiny in the front room looking lovely. problem is after reading countless threads in the search i think im going to have some problems with the standard arches. think the rears may be ok pending how low i go but few ppl have said the fronts will be a major issue and wold never run these up front, poor handling etc. the search has helped but now i need a bit more advice. has anyone got any pictures of another vr6 running the same or something similar as i know it doesnt help the vr has a wider track too! ive know rolling the arches can help but wouldnt really want to go down the pulled/flared route as i cant afford to repaint the rear wings. also i need 2 new tryes, the 4 are khumos 205/40s, 2 good, 2 only have about 2mm leftso are on their way out? not sure if the tyre fitter would fit them? question really is it possible to get the fronts to fit maybe with some adjustment to the camber/toe etc and poss buy and run a smaller tyre. 195? not sure how much of a strech that will be as im not a wheel expert, as you can tell buy buying these! lol! or try running the duff tyres up front first before buying new ones, problem is the tyres arent on the wheels so i need to pay to get them fitted anyway? i dont want to pay for fitment of the old or 2 new tyres then fitment then find out i cant run the fronts? ive gont some mille miglia porsche reps on at the mo that i believe are 17x7.5, not sure on et but theyre fine so i can run the car. just obviously much rather have the MLs on and i dont want to have to sell them! any help or advise is much appreciated as its the first set of wheels ive bought and didnt do my research as well as i should have!

gorgeous, theres one of these exactly the same as this one parked up a 100m from my gf's flat, gives me an excuse to go round hers now! :) slow down every time to have a peak. id love to have a nosey inside etc and take some picutures but not when i dont know the owner and its parked in the buliding car park. Drove new vr back to tonight,pulls nice and sounds lovely. I'll have to give it a good clean and take pics. Got the wipers from a polo I think? Did the aero wiper as suggested on here. There shod be a receipt for them mate when I bought them, you should be able to get new aero bladesfrom halfords or something? And yeahlove to supercharged this but got few things to do first lol.

hello mate, hows the car holding up!!! picking up a vr6 tonight so finally back into corrado ownership! and awaiting the delivery of some 9" schmidts. how was the new engine you were putting in? get some pics of these new wheels 8)

if its not worth the £200 on a budget set as the ride is not too good, then what do people favour as the best value for money set? for when your on a budget but cant afford the top of the range but would rather stump a bit more than the ebay jobbies?

ah mate what a nightmare, put a proper downer on a remeberance night! i finished uni lst year and being honest i had one or two friends who have done similar in the past but not broke windscreens and they were then surprised when i had a massive go at them to stop being idiots! they loved going out in my car and how i looked after then i was shocked too see them doing this one night? its all good having a laugh on the town etc but not at other peoples expense! im a great believer of respecting other peoples property and hopefully theyll get what they deserve sometime! best of luck getting it fixed

carpoid, where abouts are you in melbourne, i arrived here about 5 days ago, currently slumming it in a hostel in the city centre. had to sell my G60 to fund the trip, thinking of staying in melbourne little while, few months? depends if i can find work tho etc! when was this vw day? theres plenty of v8's running about here not to mention the imprezas and skylines!

with sns chip 68mm pulley milltek exhaust and de-cat ported charger and blanked off boost return , one or two other small tweaks it made 170 bhp at the wheels and 177lbs-ft torque, now for sale :(

anyone know where i can find some steering wheel fixing screws for a raid boss. someone mentioned halfords do some in the bike section but these are slightly too small, think they fit perfectly in the momo boss but the holes on a raid one appear to be 1mm bigger! typical! any helps much appreciated, cheers

i managed to get the raid wheel a few months ago and a momo boss L 8014 but the two dont quite match up, i always thought the wheel bolted straight to the boss, there's no spacer needed at all is there? what boss did you use jim, mk3 yeti? cheers?

at janspeed i managed to make 170bhp and 177lbs ft at the wheels, just with sns chip, decat, ported charger and 68mm pulley, no idea at the crank tho? the chip and pulley made a great differenc when G-werks fitted it 8)

ive just experienced similar problems with mine, although the coolant and oil light are slightly lit and look they have a little current goign to them and the rev needle bounces all over the place untill it all stops working? is this the sender on the gearbox or something in the actual clock wiring? its a 92 g60 too? any helps much appreciated please :)

depends on the budget! obviously a porsche of ferrari would be nice but i have a massive soft spot for the audi rs4! in blue! on a more modest bdget second hands M3's are about 20k, then suppose it would be r32, then supercharged vr? something completly different it would have to be an evo5/6. as of yet i can barely afford to run the G60 let alone an Rs4, lol :)
