well i can get about a bit so not too urgent! ? but rather sooner than later, i also pm'd some others i found from bmuff, if anyones up for a meet anytime id be up for it when the cars sorted!!! :)

Right, the water pumps had a slow drip coming from it for a while now, tried some sealant liquid you put in the expansion tank but think this may have blocked the pipe or created an air lock, but the drip did stop. now the car steams from the expansion cap after 10 mins driving! ive thought about draining the coolant but a) i have little knowledge and b) crap tools such as jack etc! now the pumps started to drip again all of a sudden. Basically im fed up and want a decent garage that knows there stuff if the water pump needs replacing but also are reasonably priced! i have basically no mechanical knowledge and am jst getting annoyed now!! or if anyone in the area is pretty clued up and can lend a hand then that is also most welcome! cheers, craig.

thats lovely, makes me want to go and try one for myself having never driven a mk2 gti, dont do enough miles tho to justify another car, not that i can really afford it on a student budget anyway, and could never chop the c in for one! must own one someday tho!

if you dont have the boost return deleted then what else would you need to buy, charger lube etc?? and how easy is this to do with verly little mechanical knowledge? twin inlet looks easy to install just the deletion part of boost return im thinking off? good work tho def interested, pending funds!! :)

well if it wasnt it was still pretty fast, mines no slouch and it was keeping about even ground between us, cant remember the reg but was in mint condition, and thewres me thinkin its only a fiat! think twice next time, good laugh tho!
-
seems like there pretty nippy then! it was definately a very tidy car with creme leather interior! think it was the 20v turbo, had the pinnifarina badge on the side, kept up with him ok but he was edging away slightly, still pretty pleased tho 8)

As im off uni just been to clean the c and ended up having a little play with a fiat coupe 20v turbo! didnt no much about them performance wise but i thought its only a fiat! id say it was pretty even all the way down the dual carriageway, he did start to pull away ever so slightly at about 100 when i had to change into 5th, but then we ran out of road, felt i couldve done a bit better but just looked and these things have a 2 litre 5 pot with 220bhp standard and this one looked pretty mint, think i should be pretty chuffed with the c's effort, being 14 years old too! he moved over lanes and had a grin on his face, seemed bit impressed as well as surprised! what du reckon, anyone else had a bit of a go with these? off to fit a cold air feed now from the brake duct through the cc hole, see how it goes, the hunt for cooler air goes on

yeah it would be nice to keep the car together but if you do break it im interested in the smoked side repeaters and the magnecor leads? keep us posted

looks like a great s2 you've got there! wouldn't mind owning one someday! another car on the wish list! still keep the c tho! of course :)

VDUBBER, cheers! ill give it a go when ive got some time! better than nothing as with the blower on my feet they get a right roasting!
-
cheers for the reply, least i now know the problem, think its guna stay like this for quite a while as i really cant be bothered to take the dash apart jst for this! what a pain! oh well! something to put on the 'to fix' list!
-
exactly the same just happened to mine, what a nightmare! sounds like the cogs broke but not being very mechanical i expect itll say like it for a while :(
-
had a great day yesterday getting the c chipped at g-werks but as usual something had to break and id literally been home for 10 seconds and adjusted the blower from the window position to the vent position on the left and something snapped so now the vent doesnt adjust and blow out of the air vents! i took the panel off and the cable dissapears behind the dash somewhere so i took off the plastic surrounding the clocks and couldnt see where it went or have a clue how to even access it! has anyone got any ideas how to fix this or is it stuck here for ever blowing on my feet! cheers

after much delay due to unforseen circumstances ive now finally been able to get down to darren and what a result! just had the chip and 68mm pulley and the car feels so much more alive and ready to go in any gear! and it now sounds absolutely awesome! love it! definately worth the cash! just planning on what to save up for next! fmic or big valve head maybe! who knows? not for a while tho till the grin on my face settles down :D

finally got the money coming in (uni loans) and thanks to the amazing guys at brentacre i can now mod my g60 as much as i like with no effect to the insurance! so i can finally chip the c and be legally insured! what guys! anyway booked it in with darren tomorrow for the sns chip, 68mm pulley, rsr outlet and a much needed oil cooler as ive been seeing 130 degrees lately!!!! also guna use a bit more of his time and get the front kitted with new bushes and maybe one or two other minor bits. being scouring the forum for previous posts about what difference the chip/pulley make and im looking forward to the results. everyone seems to say its the most noticeable change when driving the car. if anyones got any input on these mods then feel free, always best tho to expect the worse then if it goes like stink then its a bonus! watch this space then as i get my car back on sunday and hopefully all will be ok....fingers crossed as ive had bad luck lately!

came back to my c earlier parked in town to see quite a nice 16v next to it! nice i thought! hada little lookie then some guys came over shouting a bit! the driver was ok but his m8 clenched fists said ' i was guna hit you no matter what!' even after i said thats my g60 parked there! what an asshole! said to the driver have you been on the corrado forum, he said which one! i was like THE forum! didnt seem bothered one bit! thats the first c owner who's been a knob! doesn't deserve the pleasure of owning the car! oh well, i started up the g60 and felt smug as i revved up the charger :) oh that sound!
