what the hell is it? seems to be the fan type bit, as you look at the alternator its coming from the left hand top side, but underneath, doesnt appear to catch on anything, and it runs fine at the moment, just seems to knock, generally when just starting and warming up though. help?

my mate uses one as an everyday, once you get on top of all the little niggles it not a problem, but he's a mechanic so.. i treally isnt a problem agree about the power, but once you get it chipped pulleyed and port the charger its fast. oh so very fast :D the 4wd can surprise a few scoobs too! overall i'd think it was no diff from a g60 rado bar the fact all the panels and alot of drivetrain/shocks/exhaust are excluse and the LHD is naff!

Anyone ever considered a TDi engine conversion?
g60_Pete replied to chris g's topic in General Car Chat
its interesting, but evil diesels have come a long way in recent years but even so.. go find a v12 to tuck under the bonnet. -
thanks gavin, it'll all be road use and i think they feel about 1/2mil on the outer edge so if i get some from gsf in the not too distant future i'll be sorted. cheers!

how do i know when my brake dics are starting to go? they brake ok they just seem to have a fair bit of wear on them, slightly pitted from the outside diameter (this is surely normal though) they brake fine, nice and smooth lots of pad left too. just looking at venoms black diamond discs, £60 a set and £30 for predator pads, might be worth a look?? not sure on prices for brakes, and its never a bad thing if your car can stop quicker! also has anyone ever seen green caliper paint?!?!!? i havent! and also whats best for cleaning the calipers... nuff q's some answer please!

they will probably also have to bond some parts of the original bumper to the rieger, costing you more money. as happend to me!

anyone got any? it'd be nice if we could get some of the resident photographers to come to a meet and get some good 1024x768 and 1280x1024 shots and above if you guys used that kind of res.. i think it would be great to have some pics of our cars individually and "group shots" (sounds dodgy) just a thought.

just a few more shots in some better light, washed polished, rinsed applied some demon shine and chamoi'd off! very smoove looking now! close up of the powerflow just to show its still in one peice after 2 months haha! just to show how much i love it, i took a picture of me hugging her, looking like a total arsehole stood on my drive :D jacked her up today on the std jack (on shail scary shit) removed 2 wheels blasted the arches, brushed off her calipers checked her discs and pads, and took the wheels round back for a session with the acid and scrubbing brush, looks a lil better but i still think they need polishing! -
im going to start driving around with no exahust on at all if this comes into play, gonna kill as many tree's as i can.

does this sh*t happen in other countries? no! toll roads arent a bad idea, but congestion charges and this ridiculous new idea are well.. just plain ridiculous.

yay back from the bodyshop, a fantastic colour match i must say! still a bit dusty but she's got a great finish on her and the work is great. £675 for the whole front end, mayeb a little pricey but the work is goooood (see if you can spot my reflection!) and the money shot! more pics when she's washed and polished!
