new rieger bumper just came woohoo! take some before after pics and get em uploaded soon as poss! anybody know how to remove the rear badges? are the stuck on with the same stuff the rubbing strips are, if so just get the hair dryer on the job? dad seems to think they are attached with glued pins at the back.. -
16vg60's is a a nice peice of kit for £75 delivered fitted mine yesterday in about an hour. the engine barely moves at all i'd reccomend a jmr one, a vt is probably better but a little pricey imo.
-
distributor? checked mine last night and cleaned the poop off it, starts up much more eagerly. i just cleaned the contacts on the bottom and the spinning thingy.. (man im so technical) i often had starting probs too
-
give em big hell. thats just plain effin sloppy, get a new filter quick shapr too, stop those pesky rags gettin in ;)
-
http://www.cappuccinosport.com/ i defend the cappuccino's honour! check out the wide arch kits and turbo mods hehe, loved driving one of these things in standard trim. revs up to 13k :D turbo doesnt even kick in till about 6k! if you get the chance drive one its like driving a dodgem, only a very fast one 0-60 is aboutn 8secs but didigtally limited (front end lifts without mods) also for hilarity check wheel prices.

*off topic* some woman outside my hosue in an anging 145 alfa 1.6 lowered with some nasty tsw multispokes on it hehehehahah *on topic* exactly rwd is naff if you cant drive it properly! the only benefits you find arent for everday drving either, the bonus of course being that you can do donuts :D and i wouldnt have a bimmer on the basis of rwd either, i'd have a suzuki cappuccino now THATS fun. specially when you check out the tuning potential, from a 600cc turbo charged 3 cyl car... its scary
-
look a bit gimpy imo? i'd rather go for a brabus smart roadster! the s3 is top notch though...
-
see they be rubbish ;) s'not even a V! plus yours is purple so that makes it 200% cooler.
-
give him a right good humiliation :D just for me! plus bm's are arsesliding turds
-
clio 182 will keep up with a 328. sorry for the urm language ;) just worked at bmw for a year and got to know a few owners (total cnuts) probably a massive over generalisation but hey. bm's are definately overrated though. m3's are a different kettle of fish though specially the old e30 if you can get used to lhd
-
rado all the way, unless he wants the stigma of being a cunt for the length he owns the beemer. plus all bm's look the fucking same.
-
go borrow somebodies 4x4 and either drive over it or drag it around till the handbrake snaps/something important falls off. :D maybe the car will be about when you get there and you can accidentally kick in all the windows and piss on the door handles
-
best thing i've done with a marker all semester! come on guys think up some more free mods :D
-
anybody here good with the ol wiring? got a few q's about wiring up some stuff for the rado. firstly i have to wire in my headunit and speakers, as far as i can tell the dash speakers arent wired in, could somebody tell me how to get at the speakers themselves and what colours the wires *should be. the interior lights work but only when i manually switch them on not when i open the door. its the same for either switch its either on or off via switch not via door. remvoing the dash cluster to put in new leds? how do i get the sodding unit out and what should i watch out for (length of time taken to remove and add leds?) and lastly! how difficult would it be wire in a strip of leds and have them lightin up in sequence left>right or even right>left constantly? im no electrician so use really simple words :D no i havent gone all chav on you i promise the scanning led idea (to me at least) seems like some good fun and a chance to get a bit handier with electrics. and no i wont tell you what its for lets just say i watched jonothan orss the other night and remembered something cool ;)

saw rileys new lights and thought i'd take a stab at that! and of course i decided that my badges didnt look all that nice! so i sprayed the g60 badge peugeot diablo red ( a very sexy colour i must add) think it looks nice, still have to do the rear badges yet. and my vw badge was stripped down to grey plastic so i gave it the once over with some alloy touchup spray! both got 2 coats of paint and 2 of clear laquer. think it looks alot better but now it makes the grille look tacky! time for a new grille soon i thinks! lemme know what you think guys, the modding bug has finally taken hold, next is some new led bits, wheels and finish them badges. forgot to add that nasty bumper damage is going to be rectified by a sexy rieger bumper :D lemme know what ya'll think! -
ordered mine about a week ago. due in on tuesday. then arranging delivery date.
-
i reckon if you try touching it up with a kit/tcut henny or whatver you can probably push for about £2k she seems in great condition apart from that scratch. and we all know miles dont matter if shes cared for
-
what price is the rado going up for? and what are all the specs on her have to weigh it al up properly. then demand henny does a job for you (feminine charms etc)
-
well still waiting for my engine mount (cheque in the post!) and bumper is still in transit, meanwhile my drivers side door doesnt open! anybody had this [problem? it still locks fine and all elecs work but the interior and exterior handles dont work, so i have to climb in thru the drivers side as i have apssat handles (no locks) and due to the very badly positioned screws i cant get the trim off to get her door open! any ideas guys apart from breaking the trim? i really dont want to buy another panel. please gimme a hand with this one its driving me mad i actually thought about selling her this morning, the only thing stopping me from chucking her is the way she drives even though i have to drive like a granny cause of my dodgy engine mount.
-
damn them!!!! its a conspiracy! she should be ok? you still got your rocco's as backup if its in for any time?
