    Recaro wiring..

On my non factory fit loom but made to be like 1 there is no relay but i have also heard the same that there may be 1. It does indeed plug into the top of the fuse box so its drop the fuse box down job and a pain in the arse.
  2. Holy shit the bed, i remember reading it too on ED38, it took you ages to be able to bring yourself to post it all up on there. Gutted.
  3. God forbid it wont happen for a very long time if at all, but lets say a relay fails, where can i get 1 what type do i need etc?
  4. White is the new black and minimal is in right now, keep going Chris...... :notworthy:
  5. I love your daily late night posts Neil. 8)
  6. Covering 1214 miles throughout the week, without so much as lifting the bonnet and without any faults whatsoever :norty: Am i the only person to think that i could do that easily, i know we all say how how unreliable they are but im sure i could easily do that without issue.
  7. As 1 of those is a thread of mine i should say i used boostmonkeys points on the diagram and it was sat like that on axle stands on his points for a good 6 month, solid as a rock, i did some sreious swinging on stuff and all my weight on the car.
  8. It truly is the only way to do stuff..... :gag:
  9. I did mean they look comfy truly, how i read it back to myself it sounds sarcastic. Do me a favour and post up more interior pics of yours mate, trying to get inspiration for stripping mine out and i need to see how they look that way etc.... :D
  10. Thanks to Millspeed for the quick delivery, packeged perfectly and item as described . :salute:
  11. I never bothered with the push button and led on the LC-1 as it can be calibrated without the use of it. Is it possible to dim the gauge with the headlights, mine says not to wire it that way or should i say it says nothing about it.
  12. Cheers Neil, just never seen it all before. You said it goes to the glove box light?
  13. See what your saying, i know you understand electrical laws more than me. So even with a set of components that are running passive ie through the seperate component crossover @4ohm each speaker, what is the amp seeing? You could also run a component set off that amp active, ie no crossover.
  14. Just 1 of your posted pics with a circle will do if ya can at some point.
  15. Because you are bridging it, that does not mean the impedance halves, you can make it see whatever load you want it to 2 or 4. So just found it actually does 2 x 170rms @4ohm bridged. :D Genesis profile 4
  16. Awesome, i take its still built on the small budget in comparison to the actual decent quality stuff you have on the car.
  17. Tried the other week to get some of the engine bay when you asked but it was in the garage and came out very poor on the phone cam. What you wanna see just some random shots of everything?
  18. Looks too nice to break, sell your gran or something to fix it.
  19. I know :D and its getting louder and worse, its coming off the road in the next month for the complete transformation and will be off for a very long time. Try to get a better vid tomorrow, any requests from anybody?
  20. I was hoping somebody would notice the noise, i think there is a wheel bearing but its hard to tell where from and then there is a cv joint thats foobared, no the roads were not wet either just the final drive i have as standard that all you vr boys want but then i also want the 1st and 2nd that you guys get as standard, so its not really a good combo. :D and its bloody hard trying to drive fast in control whilst trying to film it.....
  21. Well daily video time, i am just doing the normal day to day driving, not really trying to do anything in particular, bout 2 min in i get the chance to put my foot down pulling out of a junction thats over the crest of a hill onto a blinding set of country lane bends, 1 of my favourite roads when the roads are clear.
  22. Yeah its it a bit mad but important at this sort of power glance over and see how its running at idle & road testing etc - just sitting on the dash so can relocate it anytime once everythings sorted I just find it easier to read the analogue type gauge, ie the needle with fixed numbers, im just not a huge fan of digital numbers. I had that for my boost reading on the old boost controller, i could understand it and all but it did my head in, now i can just look without thinking about it, suppose its just what you get used to. Also is it not annoying when it says lean or rich instead of just saying what the reading is, as you know if it said lean on boost then worry but normal driving it will be going between those 2 all the time, is it your user preference as to when it alerts to those conditions. If so i would just set them so it doesnt say them at all and always says the actual reading. If it was mine of course. :D
