are these EXACTLTY the same ones as the ones from the dealer?   The TT guys who do not have them upgrade to these. Which got me thinking, my TT does not have aero wipers and i was thinking upgrade the TT to aero and get 2 of my standard TT arms and blades to try on the corrado, mucho cheaper for new parts then most likely and for mine i cant stand updating an older car so it keeps it all from the era of the car and hence looks loads better.
-
On part throttle cruise i get a pretty solid 14, full throttle i am no more than 12, idle can be a little all over the place to be honest.

This thread is useless without video's...........

Not sure how much you guys are paying or even if these are the same as i think kev said 2 drivers side but here a the TT set up left and right. http://www.thettshop.com/oem.asp?cat=2006&catalog=2502

I wondered who had bought those, i was looking at them too and they are a billy bargain for sure, pods alone go for that. Also there were some Focal K2 power 5.25" component set for £80 which is studiply low price.

If you can stretch to them then STACK really are the business.

From experience i was just going to write what Henny did but he did it all.

JSB Racing Shiftlight kit - Pre-order for next batch
junkie replied to mrbeige's topic in Suppliers Forum
This may not be an issue to anybody else and me been picky but i wish i had installed mine the opposite way round so the right one came on 1st and worked left. This is because i have a 320mm steering wheel on and where i end up sitting and where i like the steering wheel ie the lowest setting i cant see the last red light, which to be fair i have changed by then as i use mine to tell me what i could expect at that rev range not telling me when to shift as i know when to by listening, but would still be nice to see it without having to move slightly. Like i said a small issue of mine and not a design fault of anything as it can be fit how you want. -
My Pearl Ghey 16v Gone :( - Introducing "Annie"
junkie replied to vwdeviant's topic in Members Gallery
I totally agree with that comment but you can still remember what the original seats felt like, honestly give them a couple of months use and you will see they actually grip you better in a different way and then when you sit in another set of standards you will hate the originals. -
New daily.... Still a V6 only a little biggererer
junkie replied to R1chy99's topic in Members Gallery
Im loving all these new daily's were all getting, sweet... -
Oh dear, now you've done it..... :nono: Si, I totally agree about running a highly tuned car everyday (not that I have personal experience), it can cost a fortune to keep them on the road. Even just up rating brakes etc will dramitcally increase running costs for a car that DOESN'T break down  Not really had any feelings about the old TT. My Mum has one, 225 facelift in Misano red, nice car, goes well, looks the part and to be fair, not a bad daily! It's much better than my daily anyway.... :( Lol now its going to break now you said the reliable word  I like the Misano Red's too they are very nice. I love it inside but not enough to put the dash in another car. Compared to the current steering on my Corrado it is out of this world on the TT although i have read it can be made better but for got whats needed R32 stuff but what? I think its just turbo'd Corrado's that suck, the highs are very high and the lows could not get any lower...  Well from what i have read on TT Forum these have quite the common fault issues like a Corrado does, obviously not the same faults. No doubt i shall break it all in good time. Its the way of the yorkshire man, yorkshire born and bred, strong in the arm and good in bed. :D Actually wknd of 13th-15th March should be coming up Scarborough way but for a family birthday wknd away, but yea come round sometime mate.

Its cost me a friggin fortune, loads of aggro, constantly breaking due to been abused and tuned highly [read highly strung], i love it still but its not a car for daily duties anymore, although its cost loads in money to do/build like it is now, if i was to convert the amount of fun i have had into money terms then i have had 10 times the cost to build it out of it. Its time to grow up with it, get something sensible as i have and try to enjoy a little trouble free motoring for a change in something thats really nice. I think the previous owner of the TT must have drove like miss daisy too cos after doing a couple of resets its now a lot perkier on the throttle, if driven steady over a period of time it can limit max power to 75%, its surprisingly grunty for what it is. :luvlove:
-
Ah will try that 1, its also got factory sat nav which is most likely pants     i used to think the same but they are cool nowadays, its like the top gear cool wall, stuff can move about, it was once uncool but now its moved to sub zero. Another convert FTW  Beetle's are a fugly blown up TiT more like, its not about the grunt though, its a daily, otherwise i would have gone for the V6 or 225, lest not forget i do have my Corrado for the grunt if i ever wanted to.
-
Yep its brill lol...holds my smelly tree out the way nicely. I ask about the ariel as mine looks like its pointing the wrong way, its straight up and not slanted back if you see what i mean.
-
Oh and Greeny do they all have the little ariel at the top of the rear window? Only noticed it today?

As camp as they come especially cos its silver with those wheels lol, love it. It will get the usual simple mods nothing too drastic as its a daily. Actually went for the best i could find not engine spec as such, but it had to be quattro and 6 speed and facelift as those were more important than engine power. Right back at ya pretty :camp: Im the same mate, never been bothered about them too till around 6 months ago, now i love them. Actually like the wheels alot and specifically wanted them, wanting to keep it pretty standard looking, the reason i wanted the facelift was the suspension is factory lower than the earlies, and im not scene enough to get it low. Enjoy the ride comfyness too much. Thats 1 of the planned mods eventually a remap but not sure which 1 to go for, JBS are about half hour away so may look into the CC Custom Code stuff. I know but it takes time to find just the right :camp: ness to join the south yorkshire :fondle: club If i had some left that is i could ask for that  Damit, you beat me to it with the hairdresser comments You should know you have to be quick round these parts to get in with the predictable jokes, makes you an :epicfail: Im always up for some forum mockery Jon  everybody fire away... That image has definately gone now, from the drivers seat it just does not feel like how it looks from the outside, actually feels very sophisticated not very posing like, drive brilliantly, who says modern cars are boring with no soul hey. Just go test drive 1 Jim im sure you shall not be disappointed at all, i was expecting it to be naff from what i had read from reviews etc but it is really good, not sure how much of that opinion is from driving my car though as that can get rough going at times.
-
Well im fed up of the Corrado so decided to cheer myself up and get a new daily :D My Corrado is now an :epicfail: and will remain that way for the forseeable. So without further a do here she is 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfF60 WCC.jpg[/attachment:de7hucup] Er  wrong car, thats my weekend car but were not interested in that as its boring, so finally i can show you all Audi TT (600 x 450).jpg[/attachment:de7hucup] 1.8T 180bhp Quattro 6 Speed Black Leather 2002 facelift beast. Comfy as hell, not so quick and bloody pretty much mint with 44k on the clock and a faulty dash pod, booked in to Audi for the F.O.C replacement next week. Very very happy with it. :D :D
-
If i drive like miss daisy i get a 25mpg reading max and even that is over reading it.
-
He sold the car Philmo..... Please somebody sort this thread out for when you click last unread post, its 26 pages behind and i have read them all.
-
Damn i wish i got 500 miles to £60 thats brilliant.
-
That is the best looking inlet mani i have seen ever. My mate ran a screamer pipe on a C20LET corsa @ 400bhp and got 2 ASBO's....

http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewto ... 23&t=75821 I have not fitted mine yet though.
-
^^^^^^   :salute:

Im sure now i think a couple of tears ago they were around £40 each but could be well wrong. Can you not just get intouch with FK themselves? Ring round the usual suspects, Venom, etc.
-
Phil aka Seth, they do indeed do stiffer springs for FK's.
