Well i took the hammer to them and what do you know it worked so sorry guys there will not be a cheap set for sale now  On the brightside in the words of Tommy Cooper "just like that" i now have replaced my completely foobared pads for a nice set of DS2500 8) Cheers for the help guys mucho appreciated although i'm still not convinced the whole working on your own car thing is a good idea, i'm glad i have done it but what a ballache, 4 hours from start to finish. :?

I can think of a set of wheels and a forum member has them as well cost about the same and very similar to RS's, only seen the 1 corrado with them on as well. Its not just the wheels i want but the dash doing and the rear beam refurb.

Well cheers guys, i'm off to take a hammer to my Brembo's. Watch for a cheap set coming for sale very soon

24 bit digital to analogue converters - The result audible superior musical reproduction.

Great sounds interesting to do then, do they def only go 1 way though? 100_1279.jpg[/attachment:2zoxo1z4] As can be seen in the pic on 1 end it is shaped different, well from what i can make out thats at the back of the caliper and from the front its like a watch strap pin kind of idea.

Where you moving up north.

Looks mint as ever. Your plans are exactly the same as mine but you will definately be getting there before me.

Cheers Dan Brembo in bits.jpg[/attachment:bk4e3k20] Basically the 2 silver pins hold the pads in, to me it looks like they should come out to get the pads off but i cant get them out?

I'm not sure to be honest, i sure it does but dont hold me to that, i have a CD that are mp3's that wont play but i also have CD's recorded in mp3 format that do play, i'm guessing its to do with the disc used though as the 1 that won't is a DVD disc and the others are CDr's. Iy you look on Nakamichi website you can see the different 1's they do and you will see the Nak 500 that you should avoid even though it says it does mp3. Source Sounds & Security who i use sent a few back for repairs but i cant remember what for now and they really took the p**s, Source have since stopped using them for that reason but told me that its only the 500 thats dodgy and the others namely in my case the 400 is still ok. They even do/did a 6 in dash CD single DIN unit.

Really could use some advice as it will be getting dark soon.

Right then finally decided to try and change the pads on my own for a change (fitting Ferodo DS2500 into Ibiza Brembo's). Question is how the hell do you get the old pads out??? Got the pistons pushed back in Got the clip off But the 2 pins that go through the pads, do those come out, i cant get them off but it looks as though they should. I'm sure i am missing something simple but i am well and truly stuck lol, as you can understand this is why i pay people to do things for me i just hate working on cars, but for a change i'm willing to learn all the ins and outs and do all i can now as it may well make me appreciate it more and give me the satisfaction of knowing i built what i could. Any luck getting some more pictures of the shifter tower mate?
-
Very good headunits the Nak's are but make sure you get the CD400 not the CD500 i think it is, as they had problems, the 1 you need lights up green and amber the 1 you dont need is the 1 that lights up blue, very factory looking, a perfect match to the trim in the car and with 24 bit player sounds awesome. As a point i suspect you used a digital voltmeter, an analogue should show up instantly even if its a small short blip of power where the digital takes a split second to display the reading and as you say never showed up.
-
Which are you referring to mate KW or FK as FK make the Konigsports not KW and KW are highly reccomended from what i hear. I have FK boneshakers
-
I have 1 i took off my car you can have mate, did no more than 6k on it, just been sat in the garage for 3 years now so a little rusty to look at but sure it will clean up ok, will check for you if your interested.

You have some proper driving skills there to be driving both around at the same time lol
-
Is that still true with the silverline option as i have those and was thinking of adjusting them.
-
Far too much time on your hands to be so detailed with the pics and explanations but good work and good to se somebody at least cracking on with their car, you still keeping the original intercooler then as your after the alloy boost pipe for the stock pipe route.
-
The only problem would be which 1 shall i drive today then, mmmmmm life must be so hard.
-
This should be compulsory actually makes for good reading is there a forum board setting to make the writing rAnDoM colours and size in each post

Any clues on the new front seats, looks real good so far just need to get it outside to really show it off. As things are now finally and thank god moving along, you think you might actually make ED38 this time

Its not about whether its something new to the table just the fact that it will be immaculate, built for you not the "scene" (i seriously hate that word in the context it gets used in) to get 1 upmanship or to be different, although a TVR interior is different, you have it cos you like it. Seriously though you have won the lottery or something, just with the amount of not so cheap things you do and buy and the things you do want to do, most of the time actually doing them as well, is unreal and your a postman so come on time to own up, how much you won

No i dumped the G-lader for the BBM/Lysholm then dumped that in favour of the IHI VF22 turbo and its running 1.5bar so hardly the low pressure turbo you suggest. If you want a twin charged set up then ideally you want a supercharger to take care of the low down torque and instant grunt with a large turbo that can be a little laggy to take care of the top end grunt, there is about 3-4 different ways you can do it though and im not fully clued up on it but 1 term used is compound charging.

Haha 6 months and 200 posts most certainly doesnt make you a noobie especially when its a stickied thread :D in the drivetrain section. Not really paid much attention to the thread tbh as much as i want 4wd it just adds too much weight for me so i will stick with the mechanical grip without 4wd,im sure i can get a good enough set up that can compete with the 4wd boys  If its something your interested in doing or want to know more then these guys Biggerbigben coxylaad Blue95 PhatVR6/Phatty/other names he has used to name a few.
