  1. Off the top of my head i thought Grey's we're 310cc and red we're 280cc
  2. Yea i meant what did it achieve having a diff ECU, regardless of what could be done or diff engine it was from factory still running the same as a corrado g60, and did VW intend on people modifying the rallye or was it for the homoligation purposes as to why it was different. Why swap out to a rallye ECU when its prob so much cheaper just to use a larger map sensor from a diff car in the original ECU
  3. Also bearing in mind Sheffield is the city of steel, when they built them years ago they used imported steel as it was cheaper, bad move i'm afraid, they recently spent a couple of years restrenghtening the whole thing as it was unstable but had been for years, and guess what it's made it better but not as much as they thought it would. You actually feel the whole thing move when stationary on the underpass, i know it should flex but i have not been on any other bridge type structure that moves like it does. So we have some of the best steel in the world apparently right on our doorstep and we use cheap crap :? clever move???
  4. What did it achiece Bigtartanjudge? Why have a 3 bar map sensor when its boosting as much as a corado G60?
  5. Those cooling towers are 10 min from me and they keep wanting to pull them down but they are basically a famous Sheffield landmark now and the viaduct is the M1 on the top, junction 34 Meadowhall.
  6. Very nice but 1 bit of constructive criticism, you need some yellow coned speakers in the doors to compliment the yellow horn button. 8)
  7. You still working at Mclaren/Mercedes? Get it on the track there when finished, on top gear.
  8. So specifically you mean the front seats which are Konig seats? You can but them for around £700 a pair last time i looked, sure i have seen a set fitted before.
  9. You serious  I mean this in the nicest possible way t****r i'm sooo jealous right now, seen 1 on pistonheads last night with a 6L+ (3 or 5) and supercharged beast. At least you now get that useful space frame chassis :D
  10. The black is just sooooooo wrong IMHO
  11. Very nice if your going for the upppercrust, sophisticated, top of the line motor look :D

    Fuel Prices

Cheap! Buckinghamshire... Tessers Super plus.. £112.9! Didn't even look at the Shell down the road. what !! i think we should all take our corrados and block the fuel depo's  I blame Clarkson last night saying it's really good value for money...........
  14. Just sounds like your over fueling on start up like i can do as it gives exactly the same problem as you describe on mine. Try not to use as much throttle on start up, or do you really have to do that much to start it.
  15. Why would that be though? If its the same engine.
  16. Yea could be worth a shot i dont think it will hurt it but it may need the map tweaking, if they are the motorsport they are 310cc IIRC but i dare say your original will be ok as my suggestion to when you need to go up a size was also on a stage 4/68mm pulley/big valve head/piper 285. Not a clue if they superceeded the original greens. Ideally i would say you want to run injectors between 80-90% duty cycle at full load i think, and when you start running too large an injector at a low impecance you get a bad quality running issues. Something to bear in mind when deciding if you will fit them or not, what will the spec be on the engine? I cant see them been too big even with mild tuning but if your planning on going further then mayb a good idea to stick them in now whilst in bits when you do the head as it will be a load easier. Better to be bigger than to be smaller.
  17. Absolutely love that colour, always thought it looked nice in pics but pics do not do it any justice at all when you see it in real life up close and personal.
  18. While were posting our own up here's mine then. Corrado G60 Turbo 004 (1200 x 797).jpg[/attachment:2k50u9pm]
  19. The grey 1's in people sigs are motorsport items i believe and better in flow rate and are usually used with a big valve head and a cam.
  20. My ISV is removed and running on Haltech management. I have to on start up use the throttle but it is the smallest amount seems not even worth doing its that little, but if i dont it will not start but any more than just a little and it over fuels way too much and the petrol sticks to somewhere in the engine when cold and i get black plugs, so try cranking it over with the smallest possible throttle application, it basically seems like im resting my foot on the pedal and not pressing it but i am if you catch my drift.
  21. Eeeyyyyyy my 1st pearoast in 2 1/2 years  thought it might have been, but been here a while and never seen it before. Never heard of any videos or fast purple before now.
  22. Anybody new to the G-lader/G60 engine or have you ever wondered how it works then for the video used for dealer training. Even i learnt something. For reference later down the line when this post is lost it is also added to 'The Forced Induction 8V Thread'
  23. A lot of very useful advice there, i think i will be taking some of it. I'm already in the process of taking the car off the road, re-organising my finances to be able to set a more realistic budget and stick to it more easily. Like i say i have been like this for 12-18 months and wish i had done something sooner instead of trying to forget about it (denial).
  24. Also the Recaro's Reminds me of that programme where there is that london geezer with the mad asian type dude who take cars and build them into 1 off naff supercars, its like a creation of their's.
