Exactly the same for me on long journeys with the standard stock seats, changed to the Recaro's and i feel as refreshed as when i started my journey, took a few weeks to get used to them after been in the standard seats for 5 years. They come heated and electric height and backrest tilt, manual back and forth but no leg axtension which i wanted, i think some golf recaro's have this along with deeper bolsters but the subframe makes the seat sit higher, the way round this is to use the corrado recaro subframe but good luck finding a set along with the recaro's.

"triangular" er maybe, but 1 is flat (the rear) and the other is pointy and too tall (the front), IMHO, wont work with the sportster. I liked and started a topic on the pole position ages ago but decided i couldnt live with the fixed design, and they're again too curvy for a boxy car inside and out.

I couldn't live without the Rado Recaro's now i have them, waaaayyyyyyy more comfy, felt weird at 1st but the comfort is so much higher and on another level now i'm used to them.

Good luck with the house Ben, i'm not going to try and change your mind again, the decision seems pretty much set in stone. Sure you will come back to a Corrado though............. -
Ive not read the whole 15 pages but are these the 4 relay dipped and main type looms and what was the cost? As you say you cant afford to do them, buying the materials etc, what if we sent the money before you had built them that way you can get them built to order basically, we pay you the money, you buy and build the looms then send them out, all of course if you have the time?

The Beetle cup cars are cool 8)
-
The headrest wont match the rear headrest shape, thats why i hate porsche seats, the front looks all curvy and the rear all square, just wrong!!! Bet they're well comfy though those Recaro's :D
-
They look the nuts Neil, def dont put the black 1's on again, they were too black before.
-
Mine did it then sorted itself out, try looking at the horn button area.
-
Like the interior, those colours and materials really suit and compliment each other.
-
even better then. on my old wheels i had 8mm spacer on and that gave a 2mm clearence, looks so much better that way :D
-
Hold on a mo though, your at home and your going to bolt the wheels to the car, right. Have i missed something here, have you got it back???
-
You will find that should read bloody corrado's
-
Nice, they the set from the fatherland, cant keep up with which 1's you still got, as its 3 you have had right
-
Funk me They cost you that or you selling at that? Seriously mate you won the lotto.
-
Looks like been 5 stud conversion then if i decide to get some as i would like the wider outers but not stuck past the arch. Is the conversion as simple as what you say?
-
Pics? You have any pics with them on the car with adaptors, looking down the side of the car, see how far they stick out?
-
@OSV i was waiting for that after jackflash ask the question as you posted it for me before lol. Any chance of making it smaller as to what are useful
-
But dont you need the leon 5 stud 312mm disc Dan, or you saying when using the adaptors they still fit. Are the VR driveshafts etc any stronger?
-
Same jump as me then, except i went Geeeee60  Currently prefer the look of the Polo though, hope you can get the same mean look from your VR6
-
Fair point, but if you went 15's in my opinion they need to be wider to make up for loss in diameter so as not to make it look like its got no wheels, then you start getting into stretched tyres, losing tyre profile car goes lower etc, end of the day there is so many choices available and opinions on what looks and works, its each to their own really.
-
In the sense that when its on 15's and slammed to lose the arch gap, it will be scraping the floor.
