  1. Spotted by my dad in Greece  G60
  2. i'll check mine out then, as i'm sure they don't hit anywhere else except at the bottom
  3. the only issue i've found is they ever so slightly rub on the scuttle panel. Circled in red, it has taken the paint off the wiper arm where it hits. i don't notice it making any rubbing noises when in use, i'll just get the black paint out at some point
  4. just been out and took some pics of mine and measured it for you, i've been told this is the original exhaust its 92mm wide and 76mm high looks really wonky in one of those pics, but it looks normal in real life
  5. ill get a photo to explain, but its so minimal it really isn't an issue
  6. whoops, forgot to add its a VR6
  7. i've checked through Encarta 95 but alas it mentions nothing about corrado fuel pumps.
  8. it only leaks when i start it up, but turning it off and back on again seemed to stop it, i had the garage check out all the lines etc and they didn't report anything need replacing
  9. this is a strange one...but i'll try to explain without blabbering on.. months back my car was in my garage, when i started it up for the 1st time petrol was trickling out from near the fuel filter/pump area. i turned car off and local garage came and towed it away and inspected it all, found nothing, started it up, no fuel leaked. Came up with a few answers Front was jacked up, had a full tank of fuel and they said it was just an overflow. But yesterday i started corrado up and it was doing the same, petrol all over garage floor, 1metre circle, so i drove it out, it left a trial up the drive and started to form a pool again, so i turned car off. started it again a few mins later and the leak was much slower, just a few drips then stopped???? both times the car battery had ran flat before i charged it and started it (left interior light on, twice)
  10. yeah they do have grease, you are meant to put some in before fitting the new gaiter/cover i had to do mine, and i also bought the grease from VW for that job
  11. i have aircon in mine but have never used it and it doesn't have much effect when on. its been last on my list of things to do since i got the car
  12. new wheels and paint job then :D
  13. i took the whole thing to pieces in the end and fixed it. I found one of the brushes on the motor hadn't been fitted properly. :D only problem now is the weather is too hot to polish in :( have found it very tough going on the corrado paint, have already stepped up to the harshest pad and harshest polish i have and its working but time consuming
  14. :( unlucky, i remember you saying it was quite new when you picked up the suspension. my car always seems to break just after i've done something to it :confused4:
  15. i got an uprated loom the other week, not fitted it yet, but not keen on the fact the wires just plug into the old socket and bridge the connection. is there a way to use the original connectors on the headlights?
  16. yours was already pretty low at the front when i saw it, that about how mine was, but i didn't like it. did you know you can adjust the lower spring plate on the rear, theres a circlip under it. i only found out when i got round to taking them off
  17. we have some samples at work once. looked alright i guess, but wasn't much more than a big square plastic jigsaw piece. What sort of condition/build-up is your garage floor?
  18. well got all set up today to do the whole car, washed, clay'd, dried and in the garage. i've done about 20mins polishing and the machine has broken, stopped spinning. pretty annoyed to say the least, have got the next 3 days off work to get it done :bad-words:
  19. i believe the 288's from a late golf VR6 are different fitting to the corrado, so yes, you need to buy the mk3 golf vr6 95> hoses, but the passat ones are the same.
  20. heated washer jets? not heard of that before
  21. what are the two wires for that go into each plastic squirter on the bonnet. I just tried to take the jet off so i can polish the bonnet properly and i've pulled one of the wires out, it was all green and corroded and almost fell out on its own  Do i need the wires?
  22. something like this http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1108222.htm
  23. I'd probably have an R32 GTR skyline, similar sort of age to a corrado
  24. i think there is a stage in every corrados life when the cooling system systematically breaks down each week  i had thermohousing, then pipes, then the radiator, radiator was a hard one to spot though as it was only leaking when i had driven it hard
  25. very tuneable little cars too  are you planning to hit it with the modding stick? Best choice of colour thats for sure, are the artic editions much more money or are they all sold now?
