  1. sorted, got bumper and slam panel off now, couldn't disconnect the bonnet cable that you pull to open it, so slam panel is still attached by that, but thats no problem really. silly question, but where do you drain the coolant from? just pull off any hose?
  2. amazing, you certainly do things properly. car looks fantastic 8) some really good mods
  3. wasn't someone on here looking for those centre caps the other day?
  4. does the noise sound like the spring twisting and twanging back into place? thats what i had
  5. just out of interest what springs plates and top mounts are you using. when i had early plates with late mounts i had loads of noises, and steering didn't feel right to me, swapped to late springs plates and steering was instantely much smoother and noise free
  6. is the nut coming loose on the strut then? once mine are tight, the whole lots just turns together, maybe new nuts needed? they have the plastic/nylon inside iirc, can't remember the name
  7. i think its getting to the point where it could be classed as Horse-rassment on the polices behalf
  8. i was reading a way to test the switch in the manual the other day, but can't remember what it was. something about disconnecting it, and touching something to earth
  9. i notice something like this in mine, what is that a sign of?
  10. lovely, thats the kind of pic i needed to see, with the bumper off 8) am sure it'll be off tonight now :D
  11. i used duct tape across the top of door to hold window up, just up one side of window across top of door then back down other side

  14. i've never ever had a flat battery  everything else on my cars breaks, but the battery has never died  am sure i can leave the corrado for more than 10days and it starts fine
  15. heres the pic from the manual, this makes no sense to me
  16. this is where i get lost  i read this thread viewtopic.php?f=3&t=273&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=15 on the 2nd page it says DO NOT UNDO???
  17. i'm now confused, looking at the car there are 4x17mm bolts with a smaller 13mm in the middle of them? someone says 4 to undo, some say 2?
  18. thats useful, i think i'll put something under the engine anyway  now i'm thinking i should do the water pump while i'm at it :( don't fancy having to take car apart again, i've already ordered the gruvenparts mount for pump, so should really do pump i guess
  19. i will have a spare elbow soon started this job on mine at the weekend, just stopped when i came to taking bumper off, is it just those 4x 17mm nuts that hold it on? so far i take off all lights and arch liners do i need to unbolt much else? seem weird to have 4 bolts holding it on, and do i need to support engine if i remove slam panel
  20. have you checked any fuses?
