i bought alloys once which turned out to off been in a crash, think on was buckled and the other had a flat bit in it
-
mine has similar probs but only when cold and for the first couple of miles, goes away quite quickly and drives fine i know my coilpack or leads are a bit dodgy as when they get wet they spark where they shouldn't
-
i'd actually rather drive the cav with stick on vinyl tbh

what i don't get it how it removes dead bugs and poo? surely your just rubbing poo all over the car till its thin enough not to see?
-
i bought that revell one for £26 only a month or so ago, i see some are still on ebay so unless they have been made obselete very recentely i would imagine they still availiable
-
i know, i think i've spent about £200 since getting the corrado  and its not a feather duster, i'm told its a meguairs high class whoopie doo microfibre made up to sound good cloth  basically it wipes stuff, quite a thing don't you think? i only really use a few bits too, wax should last a year and there's no point polishing it anymore.
-
i went out and could only find a meg NXT speed detailer, i assumed that was the same thing so bought it
-
is it too late for my last minute entry?
-

how is QD used? thats another thing i don't really know, but the odd bit i've heard about it makes me think i should get some
-
sounds like you bought one with all the common probs, i spose thats ones way to make sure you don't encounter them
-
thats what i was told earlier, that theres no point in dc2 then srp, i was just trying anything really  i'm hoping its just a case of too much product on my dads car, am going to try again at weekend. i think the stuff on my car is from bad machine polishing that the previous owner/bodyshop did
-
as for the poo, it won't budge, looks like a hole in the laquer almost

i posted this on detailing world this morning "lastnight, i tried to get rid of some bird poo marks on my dads new audi, and after i'd finished am sure i could see hologramming (i only did half the bonnet, so i could the difference) and the side i had a go at, looked weird now in the light, am quite worried, my dad ain't noticed yet. what i did: -wash -clay -megs scratchX applied with megs foam applicator (yellow disc) -Megs DC1 applied with megs foam applicator (yellow disc) -Megs DC2 applied with megs foam applicator (yellow disc) -Autogylm resin polish applied with the megs even coat applicator (white furry block) -then collinite 915 applied with megs foam applicator (yellow disc) all removed with a megs terry cloth, yellow thing am i using the right stuff to apply these products? and what has lead to hologramming as i have it all over my car
