I know its really hard to get replacement rear "corrado" script badges now, especially in UK and for under £50  i have often thought about getting a couple of badges re-chromed, found a few companies like this one below: http://www.dmsplastics.co.uk/eplating_services.html but it hardly seems worth them going to the effort for 1 or 2 badges, has anyone ever considered this? or invested any prices before? Prehaps we could get interest in getting a bulk batch done? i dunno

i did have a black badge but didn't like it very much as was different colour black to the grill :(
-
^^^suspension isn't that high, it had only just been taken off axle stands
-
just a quick pic, fitted a FK grill, is growing on me, wasn't sure at first
-
i may look into getting one chromed somewhere, i spose if could get 10 done it'll be cheaper
-
^^^thats how the one i painted came out, not really chrome tho, looked too bright on the car imo
-
i've wanted one for ages now, can't find them anywhere at a reasonable price. I tried painting one but it didn't come out chrome, just a funny silver with sparkles lol i ended up painting it black but not stuck it on car yet, still unsure about it

useful thread , i need to buy discs and pads all round, i say need, i just want to lol
-
i have heard about it before, but can't remember if it was good, bad or just normal i'll get out and have a smell after my longish journey home  nothing like sniffing for pussy fumes after some serious knob shifting 8)

Door handle repair kit..........THEY ARE NOW AVAILABLE
Jim Bowen replied to daves16v's topic in Suppliers Forum
being really lazy here, but i think my passenger side is about to die, people having trouble getting out. Who do i need to speak to for a repair kit? -
i think the layer of dirt/muck and rust on them stopped more heat than a layer of paint
-
no i have just cleaned the arches, i think i am going to waxoyl over the metal parts, all seems in A1 condition
-
i've emailed the seller, asking to explain the lipstick on the rims :)
-
i also hate them, they ruin the look of a car, i'd rather a few stonechips than a bin bag on the bonnet
-
wow, now you can actually own this car if you so desire  http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0111671258

Which is faster; Rado VR6 v Honda Civic Type R..?
Jim Bowen replied to DUBST4R's topic in General Car Chat
either way isn't it more impressive that the corrado was acheiving what a lot of cars these days boast about, over 10yrs ago 8) -
Decided to tidy up under the arches today, i could of done a better job, but took long enough anyway A cheap thing to do, makes quite a difference to how old the car looks, bought these bits £11 for everything. Took wheels off, and off i went Will be doing fronts next week
-
story so far, can't get front wheel off  garage have really tighten the nuts up so am going to get them to take em off, before i round them off, already broke the wheel brace  so did a rear one, only 1 coat of hammerite so far yeah i thought red was a bit too boyracer  before: after gotta watch the paint now for 4hrs, then do another coat  not as clean as some of you guys' cars, but its better than it was can the hubs be painteD?
-
i've just been out and bought these bits, is that all i need, may attempt this today, settled for black paint, as i'm not sure about red calipers yet
-
well when i get mine i'll see if its the right one or not and let you know 8)
-
i have a VR, and just bought (hopefully, not looking too good so far) an FK grill, i think its come off a g60, now i'm not sure if it'll fit? thought they all the same. so if you have probs with could swap maybe?
-
