Who takes their Corrado out on track? (or strip)
Rob Heath replied to PhatVR6's topic in General Car Chat
Done a couple of RWYB in my old golf and my corrado Never quite had the bottle to do a track day, yet Might try curborough next year, its not too far for me to limp home if anythin goes wrong -
The foglights are different on later models They sit more flush to the bumper, whereas the early ones are more recessed into the bumper As for the throttle body, my mate (Chris M on this forum) flows throttle bodies, so drop him an e-mail
-
You tried givin the throttle a quick blip to see if it will settle down at a lower revs??
-
Ive used it on my own forklift as a temporary measure and i must say that it is pretty good stuff Got the stuff to rebuild the water pump now (coz not sure if the rad weld will take kindly to anti freeze)??

Wow Started readin ppc just lately, I am startin to get into 'older' modified cars -
On setting 1, 2 and 3 the fan works but not very powerful Setting 4 is slightly better, but still not pushin alot of air out The air gets pretty warm and the different exit positions all work (eg windscreen, footwell etc) Any ideas, Ive put up with it over summer, but is annoyin now havin to wait ages for the fan to de-mist the windscreen
-
I also read this article in PPC Is there anythin the government doesnt want to know about????

Is it legal to mix directional and non-directional tyres?
Rob Heath replied to aclwalker's topic in Drivetrain
I wouldn worry too much. Aslong as you know to drive steady if you do have to put it on the wrong side, and get it sort it soon after youve put it on -
I always use the vw jack to start jackin then use a trolley jack (coz i dont fully trust the vw ones) This is probably pretty common with lowered cars
