I see you use AutoGlym stuff, any particular reason? I have found Meguiars to be better (imho)...

I've just not long ago bought Audi TT 312mm discs, carriers and calipers and now need the pads. From this site, which pads do I get? I thought they might be the same size initially but they are priced differently, any reason? http://www.venommotorsport.com/shop/Bra ... index.html (Make: Audi, Model: TT ) And if I want to upgrade to the Goodridge hoses, which ones do I get? Ones to fit a Corrado VR6 or ones to fit an Audi TT?

How many forum members plan on NEVER selling their Corrado?
Dr Forinor replied to godskitchen's topic in General Car Chat
Dont plan on selling mine at all... -
So what you're saying is, a bit of common sense really, lol :-P

That's about what I am slowly working towards mate, very very nice motor there :)

Erm, I know someone who knows the guy at my local VW garage, I got my last service (including oil and oil filter change, front brake pads swapped [labour only] and brakes bled) for £90... including the VW stamp in my book, lol.
-
Damn, that does look and sound bloody good!
-
A little bit paranoid but I also like to learn, what better way to learn than to ask :) But by the sounds of double-6s answer, I've got nothing to worry about, lol... double-6s: Thanks for your reply 8)

Did you need it or did you just want to go for it? If you did need it, how did you know? Ie, what were the signs?
-
"Only" 220? Bloody hell, not easy to get a little juice out of these beasts is it... Let us know how you get on with it once you get it back, looking forward to a full report from your goodself :)

By inferior I mean ones that have the engine as it was since new, but yeh :) Happy for you though mate, I really am, hopefully I will be in that position one day :) You know, the funny thing is I bought this Storm with the mindframe that I will leave absolutely EVERYTHING as is, ie no tinkering at all. I already have the BMC CDA, already have the 312mm brakes, and have a big list of other things I want done, ah well... BTW, are you gonna get your's dynoed? Any idea what you me be at?
-
You just wanted to show off to us inferior folk didnt you, show off and get us all jealous eh? Well damn you, and I'll say it again, damn you! I'm just slightly jealous, not much...

Mine is also one touch down but hold for up on both sides.

Which is better to drive, the Mk1 or the Mk2? And why?
-
Hehehehe, glad to see you're back in the game :-P :D
-
Erm.. ouch, but what a way to go eh! And why would you want to have to hooked up to the horn, I mean wtf ...
-
Can anyone else confirm this? So if I buy the hose set from let's say Stealth, I just need to buy the Golf VR one?
-

Is this across the whole of UK I'm assuming?
-
See your point, well give both a go and see what fits you best?
-
I see what you mean, but why do that anyway? Why not just connect it up? There's no extra benefit of not connecting it up. Or is there?
-
Hahahaha, thats excellent man, would love to have something like that :D
