I just don't understand why do it? What is the need? What exactly will you do with it? Just had a look at a replacement, just over £100 including P+P, think I might aswell just leave it since it's happened now. Suppose I'm lucky that no damage was done.

Is that actually accurate? I dont know, I find it hard to believe that out of 480 manual Storms, only 11 are currently being taxed? Or am I being naive to the whole situation?

Just realised this morning some asshole has robbed my GTR badge at the back of my car!! I don't get it, why do it? What the **** is the point? What the **** are you gonna do with the GTR badge if you dont have a GTR????? Can't be assed ranting, most of you will know how I feel!

Agreed it's due to the forced induction, but I still stick with my point that I think it's a lot of power for the feckers.

I do agree with you there. I'm always talking about this with a friend saying that the amount of power these new small cars are coming out is just rediculously stupid! But then when you look at their stats, they are not as good as the power/torque would possibly suggest. But yeh, it does slightly peeve me off that a crappy little Corsa now comes with more power standard than the VR6 did as standard!

In that case I may be just spouting pish, but thats my understanding of it. Either way, its the figures I seem to constantly get, even though I did expect better... Keep in mind that whenever I travel on the motorway, it's always with my wife and little girl, WITH all their luggage.... (!!!)

Lol, yup the Datsun is still standard. Too busy with a lot happening right now, the time and funds are needed elsewhere so just having to "make do" with a bog standard thing haha!

Well I do about 80ish on motorways but you gotta remember its a small engined diesel, a bigger diesel engine doesnt struggle liek a smaller engined one. I'm not saying its underpowered cos it certainly is not, I have had it at 105mph when the car was full but obviously its a little more laboured than a bigger engined diesel.

That is fricking amazing!!!!!! I get around 55mpg around town and 50mpg on motorway in my 1.4 Fabi TDi, so for you to get that, I'm bloody jealous! Good going!

I'm got my Rado SORN, only because I wasn't giving it the attention it deserved what with having the new toy. So it was either sell it or SORN it and NOOOO way could I sell it, no chance!! So SORN it is, in the hope that one day soon when I have more space and time and money that it will be back on the road, where it rightfully belongs, enjoying the back roads!! Absolutely CANNOT wait!!!

Yeh I got the remap done, definitely improved but obviously wasn't expecting a whole lot. Its funny how a VRs isnt much less economical than a 1.4 TDi ...

Your guys stories of people in supposedly faster cars not actually being much faster, is one of the reasons I love the Corrado, only one of the many reasons!!
