-
id p/x the front seats with some1 who has leather. then you still have the full lux of leather to keep the car sale price up & make a bob or two on the recaros :) i know a man who may be intrested 8)

Oh my god I cant believe it, never had a sub £500 quote before. Given by Greenlight £477.75 with a £275 XS. Compare this with a renewal quote from Brentacre @ £725 with a £500 XS its lookin like Greenlight are going to get a double thumbs up!! Bless em, a load of my mates with lesser cars are payin more! More wagon envy comin my way soon! Lots of love, big smiley Chris :-) *edit* Adey Flux have thrown in a £429.99 with £250 XS quote. Lookin good! 8)

I agree with you about prep work but I know that 2k for a full spray is not unheard of as I was quoted nearly 3 when I shopped around last time. did you mean for the 1/2 job? Ive got a mate who works at a top place nearby so will get a quote from them, got a feeling it will be steep. Cheers to every1 for your help :D

why would i paint a gold car????   i could get some dodgy geezer to abuse it but id rarther not. these are prices im getting from guys with good reps....... my old C cost £1600 to paint & all I did was find faults every time I cleaned it. Just trying to learn from the past....
-
So would i and i hope one day i will. great minds.......... let me know if you do mate!! in my dream i get it blown too, you the same??
-
Would it not be more cost effective to get the whole lot done while you are getting it done, id imagine itll only cost another few hundred for a complete job?? Cos im looking @ £1700 - £2000 & just cant justify it. If money was no object............ Well id have me an R32'rado for starters but...........

I live in Barnsley S Yorks for starters. The car has v little rust/ problems just the usual chipped bonnet etc etc. I think it would really benefit from a bottom half spray but just wondered how much to expect to pay........... Cheers in advance......

I made up a bit using a "flexy" extension I got in a leccy srewdriver. It was more bodge than master craftsman but worked very well. Sorry not to be much more help - its just time to go A Team with ya tools = ) nocrap - what did you do?
-
Yes please. Mine are so bad they look like rivets :!: I feel your pain. Try ya best to clean em with wire wool & WD (I appreciate that there aint much room) Other than that I am not sure so thats why I reached for the drill
-
I gave that trick a whirl with no joy
-
Great, see there is no need to be shy is there? :lol!: All I did was replace with a similar item from my local bolt bloke (bapp for bolts in Barnsley are great - yeah!!) Then just keep an eye on the little blighters! They also were given a good greacing - I do appologise for the smut its pretty much the tone of the day in my office!
-
erm well they are possie & about an inch long. Best bet is to whip yours out -
-
I wish it had taken me that long!! had to build a drill bit out of loads a odds n sods! Still I got there so. Hopefully the wonderfull WD will ease your pain. I must admit it was one of the first things I checked on my new un. 8)
