You can hasan, thats what I did over the weekend. This way I can add spades then covers them in heat shrink. thanks for the pics chris

Mmm reading on it may be that diodes are not needed.... anybody know if we can simply bridge the 3 lives from car end with the 2 from the fan side without starting fires?

I think you are referring to the filter housing. Front of engine between the oil cooler and alternator? as said the pump is mechanical and not likely to have been affected by cooling plumbing work. What may have been affected is the pressure sensor, one of the 3 wires on top of your filter housing. Easy to knock when replacing the plastic cooling pipe.
