I would be intrested in these as they both let my engine bay down as well. I know you can get battery covers off ebay arround £20 but they are only plastic, but i have never seen any other washer tanks

Tell you what henny everything i buy whether it being a DVD or packet of screws from B&Q i always seem to get the bit that was made on friday afternoon after four pints of wife beater down the pub. Geodiedubber you will have to make your own mind up mate but quite a few people have them on this forum and for a entry level kit they do the job althrough being middle thirites my fillings could not take it.

I had a nightmare with them and venom very nicely alloed me to trade up to FK Koni. They bounced all over the place. Give 16vG60 a pm who is a registered MOT inspector for his opinion on them.

Ok its samco HOSE before any leaves smart comments. I will having a chip written for it in the next month so i have no idea if any gain to ponies. But it does feel much quicker when on boost (3000 and above and the highest oil temp i have seen so far is 100 after waiting in traffic for 10 mins withou moving with just winf blowing through the grill.

First a bit of background. Since owning the car i have worried about the high temps (120 - 130) i was getting so in april last year a had JMR fit a Mocal Oil Cooler in the front of the car behind the grill. This did improve the cooling of the oil (100-110) but when i followed 16vG60 up to Inters i had 118 showing which did worry me as the car had just been fully serviced by JMR. So the problem was how could i get the oil cooler and if possible do a performance upgrade at the same time. I have always been a fan of 16vG60 front bumper (some people like some do not) each to their own. So after taking to 16vG60 i decided to Have Project Nosejob Undertaken By JMR. This required : 1. New Front Bumper RS4 2. Longer Oli Pipes For Movement Of The Cooler 3. Custom Itercooler Pipwork 4. Modified Slam Panel 5. New Slim Radiator Fan 6. Smaco Hoses 7. Audi RS Intercooler The whole job took 6 weeks all in all but part of that was my fault as we had real problems getting the bumper from germany and the samco hoses were also late. I would like to thank john for his engineering nowhow and excellent work and for his understanding in me ringing him all the times and asking stupid questions like ' Is it finished yet' while he was on holiday.

OK its about 18 months old and has never played me up at all. All of a sudden i am getting TOC (Table of contents) errors when inserting a MP3 CD not all of the time but about 50%. Some of the cd's i was using were scratched so i burnt some new ones last night put them in the player this morning and get the error again. Ejected the disk, put it back in and it was fine. Q Has anybody has this ???. Phoned up the place where i bought it and they said they had been told by kenwood that this problem is in how the MP3 cd is written in the first place. After sneezing and saying 'sorry i am allergic to bullshit'. As far as i am concerned if it used to work and noe does not then it means that the laser or something is getting tired and worn. Any replies welcome, and sorry about using the quote from I Robot but i beleive i was justiied in the situation. Cheers Woody

Thanks Jedi-Knight i need to save the pics off my camera for the install on mine to get them up on here. I have been so impressed with the miltek exhaust on mine i now have the full system from john Exhaust manifold, staight through pipe intead of cat and the miltek and i get nice small plops of flame when booting from the lack of back pressure which i did not relialse until paul (aldershot) from the corrado club followed me down christchurch bypass last night.

Do halfords and other stores sell them? as you only ever get one with the suspension kit. You require 2 to do a proper job.

Anybody in the bournemouth area have a set of 2 FK Koni suspension spanners which i could borrow for a couple of hours. I need to raise the ride height of the front wheels a tad before i trash my new RS bumper. Cheers In Advance Woody

Has anybody done this without removing the larger spline. or what the size of the larger spline is???

I won a BBS Volante wheel on ebay a couple of weeks ago and went to a shop near me who looked in his book and sold me a Boss to fit the wheel. Problem according to this guys data my 91 corrado has the same spline as a MK1 golf which is much smaller. i.e. there is no way on earth that the boss will ever fit. Does anybody know the size of the spline so i can go and ask for the correct boss. Cheers in advance Woody

When i had my last golf someone smashed my door in. Got a new door and had it sprayed then went to fit it myself and found that whatever i did i.e. person holding the door with it standing on a jack to get the height right and door would fit ok but would not close cleanly. Took the car down the garage who said that you needed a jig to set the door up correctly and VW steelers were the only people who had them. Althrough this being the case my garage actually borrowed the jig off the local VW garage for a few quid and sorted the door for another £20 and it opened and shut really well. I bet the steeler would charge the earth to do it. A lot more than I paid.

It went for £100, not as much as i was hoping but oh well

Just won this on ebay. But it does not come the boss to fit it into a C. Where can i buy one of these ? are they still made or will i have to find a second hand one. Thanks Woody

I beleive that now the car has stood still the petrol which was held in the pipes has run out. These will not try to fill up again without them being primed by the fuel pump. BUT i would advise against starting it back up again or dirving it anywhere as fires are dettramental (spelling) to your wallet whereas if a pipe has been spilt the AA or RAC might be able to help if you have home start. if not worth getting a mobile mechanic out to you.

Having trouble getting a baby seat to fit in the back of the C. Anybody on here fitted one of these permanant seats and what make was it. Thanks in advance Woody
