Remenber to have the camber adjustment done otherwise you will shag your tires in no time (laser alignment). Also did you buy the bolts from VW for lowered suspension setup. These allow more adjustment as there is only thread 3/4 of the way up the bolt i seem to remember.

Q di you or have driven through large puddels lately. After a motorway trip when it was pouring down my chirping stopped and what i found after some investigation was that if water has got into the alarm housing from the underneath it will just sit there and stop the chirps. Just undo the housing i seem to remember on the rear of the siern there are two holes which have two crosshead screws in them undo these and the front of the siern will be loose. Move it away from main part of houseing and turn it upside down. I could not beleive how much water was in mine.

16vG60 did a cracking job after my exhaust manifold bolt snapping procedure which is quite common on my car as it mearnt taking my head off and getting it back on within eight hours to get me home. Mind you gas flowing might take a bit longer.

I was suffering from backache when i first bought the C. I replaced all of the foam within the drivers seats on my C and bolsters and now i have a snug fitting seat which is well comfortable.

They used to as when my father bought a new golf a couple of years ago he told them to stuff their standard cd stero which was an extra on top of normal price and bought a kenwood and fitted it himself. The golf came with a blanking plate covering the CD area.

I have just got a complete sunroof assembly out of a M reg C but the motor is missing. Will my motor from my Tilting but not sliding J reg one fit it. Also is there any way to remove the sunroof panel from the mech

James I know where their is a rear bumper if you are intrested (scrappy) as to have a twin exhaust were you going to split the pipes to either side of the bumper like 16vG60 one. He used the cutout for the exhaust from another bumper and had it fitted and blended in. Also at the start of august i am having fitted a front mounted intercooler by 16vG60 in russington give us a pm if you want to have a chat about pitfalls and possible problems

Yep thats correct they come from a polo you buy two drivers side ones and install one on each pin. Made the mistake of going to buy a max power mag ( dont anyone have a go at me!!!) all i got was 32 credit card application forms and a chance to win a Nova

I had a clifford alarm fitted a while ago which had a red alarm light and also fitted door pin surrounds from a polo which had red leds in them. I have now got hold of a blue clifford alarm light which goes much better with mt dash lights and stero. Does anyone know where you can buy door pin surrounds which have blue LEDs Cheers

Does anyone know what spec the normal lights are for the dash and can you upgrade them to give a higher output? If you replace the lights with LED's which will only work on and off what LEDS have people used and from where. Cheers

No it was actuallt that colour. I have only had the car 15 months and all of the 5 oil changes which it has had in that time used the proper stuff from VAG. In saying that this car was not looked after by the person who had it before me lots of problems over the last year.
