Henny where did you get the red filters from and are there any brighter bulbs which can be used inside the instrument pod for indicators and dial lighting.

John (16vG60) fitted another set of supersports for me on friday kinley sent by richard at venom as he was quite surprised at the amount of bouncing i was getting. Top marks to Richard as he was quite happy to send me a complete new set and to take my 6 week old set back. My new set still bounces a little. But after 100 miles i can see that the front has settled a little. Karmann surley if you cut away or remove the bump stops the car is likely to start rubbing on the wheel arches on any bumps.

Ok getting really fed up with these last two rattles i have. 1. windows - When slightly down they rattle if i touch the window i can feel a slight gap between the window and strip of trim at the door lock end of the door. I asked last time i was at the steelers have much was this piece of trim £100 is there any other way round this. 2. Sunroof - The interior trim panel which moves up and back with the sunroof but when it is in the closed position it rattles like hell. If i put my hand up against it when sunroof is closed the interior panel moves up and drops back down ( about 3mm movement) It does not rattle when the sunroof if slid back and open at the rear.

Karmanii What was your measurement g60pv post near top mine is set up at 58mm. 16vg60 has driven my car and sais there is a real problem with the set up ( bouncing )

my c kangaroo's down the road when i go over a bump. it rebounds three or four times before it settles down. i have them set 58mm, i am really disappointed with them

Has anybody had problems with the supersport coilovers as mine as when i go over a bump the car jumps up and down 3 to 4 times before it settles. This makes for a very bumpy ride ( headache quite often ) anybody help me

Changed my wishbones about 6 months ago. £50 for both from the stealers and decided to change all of the old bolts and i-bolts for new ones. Nearly had a sh*t fit when they told me the price was going to total £92. As it was more than half of the bolts had been on the car from new and sheared off unstead of undoing.

I throught all insurance company now put windscreen cover with an excess of about £50. Are you sure elworthy yours does not cover this.

John gave me a lift to the station when i left my g60 with him late last year. That car sound great and goes like a rocket!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(got to station, went to loo, threw underpants away!!!!!!!. John get that dvd player in then I can watch a film in the garage while you are servicing my car end of march.

I would have to agree with henny. When i first got my g60, suspension was knackered, and i made the mistake a buying a second hand setup with just lowering springs which was only a year old but this made the car handle like a dog. Now got the supersport coilovers ( Cheers Henny ) so much better. Be a little bit careful with standard dampers and short springs.

Hand brake cables are £ 18 including VAT for both sides from VW. Got some yesterday one side of mine was Cr*p. 16VG60 fitted Mk4 calipers to my C last year and they made such a difference. Dont forget to by the banjo clips

Henny Cheers for advice about the supersport coilovers from Venom (16VG60 fitted them on sunday). Made such a difference to the ride of the car (Lowered 40mm). Everybody needing new suspension get these well impressed!!!!!!! Remember to add in the cost of suspension setup a place in bournemouth set my C up using mirrors and lasers and the steering and ride is wonderful for £58. Also as a note if you are changing from standard suspension to adjustable you will need to buy new suspension bolts which do not have a thread all of the way down the bolt. Yes i had this problem the other week The new back/elbow piece was in one part. What i did was removed cut the back rest part out and just used the shoulder elbow bit. Took me about an 1 1/2 hours to do the job the worst bit was removing the headrest mounts as you needed bloody small fingers to get them out to take off the seat cover.

henny did you do this and instead of using bulbs did you use blue LED's instead and also put a blue filter over the grren LCD displays

Not a chance mine disintegrated when i tried to get it off. Then found that the one which i had bought from the strealers some had stood on it and it was cracked.

When i had my car resprayed in christchurch near bournemouth. I had a split in the from bumber at the corner which was plastic welded by the body shop, he did a really great job cannot see the weld whatsoever. Darren if you have not got this sorted send us a pm i will find the guys phone number.

I have just ordered all of the doam parts for the drivers seat from VW. They said that there were none in the uk but would take about a week to get some from Germany. So i should be doing this job next week.
