Hope someone can help me as this problem is really starting to pee me off Its a 95 VR6 Put key in turn to start the car, Car turns over but will not fire. All I get is a clicking relay. I put in a new relay for the fuel pump thinking that was the problem, did not help. The thing is the car will somtimes start and sometimes it wont. If it was a bad earth would it not start all of the time. Anybody got any ideas what else I might change Thanks Woody

All Please Help My car was stolen The for sale add was here viewtopic.php?f=12&t=71037 I beleive the guy was from the from somewhere north of M25 said they were coming down M40. Oldest trick in the book I feel so stupid got me to blip the engine for him and he walked round the back and siad there was a strange noise so i got out to listen. Next thing I know I was on the floor and my pride and joy is is being spun out of the car park. I feel totally gutted and pi$$ed off, Please all members keep and eye out fot it.

JMR did mine for me in my old G60. I beleive there were a couple of issuues going from an old dash to anew dash which were. 1. Lengeth of cables and different ends on heater controls. 2. Different bracket behind the centre console to attach console to body of car. Top tip Change the heater matrix while the dash is out with a new one. Not expensive and it could save you taking the dash out again. Cheers Woody

it took JMR about an hour to do on my car. as the jubille clips were all seized. Also he flushed out the whole system by leaving the bottm coolant pipe off and attached the garden hose to the top of the expansion tank using a nifty connector which fitted the tank turned the water on at full pelt and i was amazed what c**p came out (sludge). The whole heater system worked so much better after that. Cheers Woody

When i changed my dash from an early to a late the only complete dash i could get was a grey one. I found a company in christcurch who sprayed it all for £70 They specialise in changing factory setup seats dash and door panels into whatever colours customers wanted. They were located on the business park in christchurch near Mc D's. I was well pleased with the result

Yep My old G60 Wheels area BBS RX 4 x 100 pcd et 34 i think. My car was lowered from standard on FK koni's Modified rad install with low profile motor by JMR allowing for more airflow to the engine bay. The low profile fun unit actually uses less power but its output of airfllow is about 50% more than the standard fan.

i am pretty sure they will fit under BBS rx's. the disks on the leon i think are 312mm. I have the Ibiza 305mm disk and brembo setup and there is still quite a bit of room from the inside of the rim to the calip[er. Mind you with RX's you will need tospace out the front whell slightly which then might mean that you might have to get the front arches modified slightly. Not so much the chicken and egg, but more like the chicken to egg to frying pan to stomach to ("sh*t that was underdone") to fingers down throat to WC. A few more things to consider m8

Bulbs seems to have gone in one of my angel eyes. Has anyone had this happen to theirs and how did they replace it. Cheers Woody

16vG60 corrado has a VR6 clutch in it which i beleive are better for engines with a little more power.

mines for sale within the for sale section. Check out the description for some modding ideas or just sell yours and buy mine.

Driving quite happly along suddenly engine dies + power steering. I coast to a stop phone the AA when he turned up an hour later. After probing about checking for spark he conculed it must be the fuse. Fuse 18 feeds the lambda probe and also the fuel pump. This was blown Changed the fuse and car started but only goot 400m and then the fuse popped again. Anybody had this problem. I am leaning towards the fuel pump as if the lambda probe was faulty would i not have a lumpy running car when it was running?? Cheers Woody

I know that when my Audi A6 conversion was done the position of the inside of the mech had to be moved down slightly compared to the standard handle and supplied plate to clear the glass.

The only problem that i know of with the difference from the early to late bumpers are the fitment ofthe fogsand indicators ( which are flush on the late bumper) Maybe VW chaged the desin of the hooks at the side of the Bumper!!!!. Do all the bolts line up on the ironwork??

Be a little careful fitting stuff designed for Golf Mk2 onto youe C. As I found out Supersport Coilovers made my car bounce about all over the place and the rebound was awful. After getting a replacement set and exactly the same result i found out that they were designed for the Mk2 Golf and the C is a lot heavier.

Yep i have the same kit as Andy665 and the light output is such an improvement.
