Whay not TT rear brakes( 16vG60 ), or have the MK4 golf Alloy rear brakes and calipers like quite a few of us on here. Not sure what make the Seat Ibize rear brakes are but the Brembos on the front and Mk4 on the rear4 stop the car very well.

I have a Audi RS intercooler although it is mounted in the front grill of the RS2 bumper, so not much help there, Try pm ing Andy365 as he has one mounted with the standard bumper

Just behind the handbrake there is a plate which unes the motion of pulling the handbrake from the plate to two cables which then route to the rear brakes. These must either be damaged of need adjusting.

When i ordered my hot wires yesterday They said to me that Nology were bringing at a range of Sparkplugs to complement the leads, I spose that the hot wires are burning out normal plugs, Might be worth a look when they come out

Bl**dy hell year old thread back to the top. Just to let you all know the drivers seat which is the only one which had been used in the car as my wife-to-be feels uncomfatable but she has always said that when i bought the car.( so we use hers when we go out as a family) Its french with AC. The seats are showing no wear whatsoever althrough I did start off with replaced bolsters in the drivers seat. I would def use them again. It does amaze me have much some of the 10-12 year seats go for on ebay which are second hand and worn, Although I did it again I would like to start off with Recaro's and then get them leathered. Cheers Woody

It a race track in bournemouth on a friday and sat night, Mind you the town centre they have put loads of sleaping policemen, I cant even get my car into certain point of town with the RS2 bumper, I think I should be able to claim for a council tax rebate of something.

dazzyvr6, yes seat put the price up of the brambo brake kits, When i got mine 18 months ago they were £595 from Badger 5, now over a thousand pound, I beleive the only part that was actually put up was the calipers inself. Might go to seat myself and get a panel as i am going to a early to late dash change next month. is the seat one the same part number?????
-
Yep there are some tw*ts in bournemouth with cars and some of them own Vw's i am sorry to say. I waved to one a couple of years ago and go two fingers back, NICE!!!
-
Yep i have one. Go to toys-r-us (babies-r-us) if there is one near you and try all the seats in the car. The recaro ones are ususally a very good fit.

When i fit my new late dash I want to get rid of the ash tray and fag lighter and also put a panel slanted towards the drivers view. To be fitted onto this panel I want to install the Road Angel Navigator. Anybody where i can buy a panel to cut which might be near the same colour of the centre console of the dash. Cheers Woody

Foliatec cans do state that they should only be used for track cars, but providing the MOT man passes them as they light up the right colour. I used it on my standard set of lights and they came out pretty good.

the little screws are small buggers which are a strange type ( 6 pointed star ) can remember what they are called T?. You need to use the right bit on them as mine were quite tight and i was worried about slipping and wrecking some tracks on the PCB.

I will second that, very polite, nice bloke even after smashing up his corrado and breaking bits off it for me and some of the work which he was doing at the time worked very good, even through Jays car was just a pile of bits looking very sorry for itself.

both of mine had given up on my 91 car and they were a right bugger getting out of the bonnet (mind that paintwork!!!!!!!)

Mike i had an uprated fan which had the motor located within the centre of the fan, This allowed for more room behind the fan assembly for other gubbings or in fact nice clear air flow
