Right, I had this sound like the motor is out of sync with the position of the sunroof. manually tilt the sunroof which the key and then disconnect the motor from the sunroof run the sunroof through its range of motions, You should be able to work out where the Tilt stop is as this will be the smaller of the two motions that the motor will do. i.e. Long motion Slide In/Out Short Motion Tilt Up/Down Cheers Woody

I have the ssme problem as I am fitting a late dash in a couple of weeks. The old style setup had two connectors one for the lights within the panel and one for the heater speed switch. On the late there is only one connector with i beleive five connector. Now I am going to fit some of the blue light piping round the heater knobs to light them up, although i am worries that the wires I have left might not work for the heater speed controls.

how many people have pocshe electric seats fitted in their C. As i have just won a set off ebay out of a 911. I have already contracted jay renshaw about sub frames, but suddenly wondered whether i have made the right chioce as most people have manual seats. Cheers Woody

I have been told that the cables + connectors which go the flexible tube at the hinge of the door will not pass through the the tube. Is this correct and if so is there a connection block point for these wires underneath the dash on both sides to allow door removal without cutting wires or forcing connector through the holes. Cheers Woody

Your lucky Blue Joe mine took at least an hour to get the inner panel away from the skin.
-
nope its stuck in and a right bugger to unattach or mine was
-
Yep Blue joe is right Siikoflex was what john used, You remove the ironwork mounting point from your old bumper then remove the plastic panel from the inside of the bumper skin and attach it using Sikoflex. John had to widen the recess holes for the fogs and indicators on mine and then grafted in the standard brackets.
-
You attach the bumper ironwork and the side clips to the RS bumper, John mitchell (JMR) did mine. Henny has done it !! as has other people as well. The RS bumper is best used to mount a front mounted intercooler in.

There are thousdands of differnt types unless you have kept the paperwork, This was the problem I had a couple of weeks ago, In the end took the car down a tyre place and they wacked a socket on to them and then just took them off with a windy gun. Kiddie you did it said for free after he finished but I gave him a tenner anyway as he was very caqreful with the hammer arround my alloys

There is nothing according to the VOSA requlations in the MOT which states that HID's have to be self levelling or have washers. John Mitchell who is a MOT er fitted them for me. He has had a kit fitted to his for the last 4 months. This kit came out of a Audi RS6 which got T-boned and would have cost £600 from Audi, All I had to buy was a set of bulbs from http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk. Total cost £120

Ok mamaged to get hold of a grey new style dash which has been sprayed black by a company called 'image' in christchurch( i will post some pictures later on £80 and a 5 year warrenty against fading and cracking), They have done a super job!!!!. Its going to replace my earlystyle dash. I am going to use all early dash switches except heater contols. Now to the problem as I am not changing the loom, Can someone tell me on the later heater controler within a corrado there are two connectors one which has two cable for the green lighting which are the same as the early style, but the speed control cables are completely different, How can I sort out the wiring. I have a white connector that fits into the back of the heater controls which has five wires in it I dont beleive that the early wiring for the fan speed control has that many wires. Help me match them up please Cheers Woody

I would be more inclined with the outer of the seats having a darker colour as they are the parts which would get worn by shoulders and bums.

"Sticks Like Sh*t" is good for jobs like this. Its bloody strong. have a search in google it is there, used in the building industry

G60's should not, as you have put it be floored after 10 secs from engine starting. The oil sitting in the sump needs to be heated up and distubuted arround the engine and charger , Have a search on the forum for normal oil temp. I beleive ( well what I do is "not over 3000 revs until oil has reached 80 )

I had to do this yesterday i had this problem http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=39992

Thanks for advice and PM.s everybody Sorted! Christchurch tyres smacked a socket onto them and removed them in a couple of mins. Would not even take any money for the job and he was really careful not to let the socket get anywhere near damaging the alloys. Gave him a tenner for the trouble anyway as I was told that to get a new set with a key would cost me £31 by wheel company. Please lock

Over a year ago was the last time I had the rear wheels off my C. Went to do it this evening and found out that the locking bolt removal tool to fit into the socket has gone missing. Oh Bugger ! I only haver them on the rear wheels as the boltys wernt long enough to fit on the front under the spacers for the brembo's. Anybody help out in the bournemouth area see attached picture. Only need to borrow it for a couple of mins as I have some replacement bots. Cheers Woody

new expansion tank required. This was exactly the smaeproblem I had. It would flash when cold on the drive to work but in the evening after the sun had been on the car all day it would be fine.
