Or a golf 2 haynes manual
-
Would prolly help if you said what the car is, but yes a 2.0 16v c should be 136bhp!
-
Depends, how fast u can drive in the 1st place 8)

-
I like it, think it could do with being a bit deeper tho
-
Eek not a new MOT shinyness test? "paint is for pussies" would have problems 8) Seriously tho, good luck on ur MOT mines gotta have one soon, and the brake pressure regulator is fecked :?
-
Thats gonna fly :shocked!: you gonna get it dynoed when its mapped?
-
Yeah I'm getting the bbm now I reckon, just notice they're on special offer too! Anyone know how much duty I'm gonna have to pay?
-
Well the way I see it is a recon ported g60 charger is gonna cost about a grand anyway, so I'm thinking bbm lysholm :) or the l&s cartec turbo!
-
Ok, I've blown up another g60  and dont particularly want another one, so I am thinking of a Phase 1 turbo kit from L & S Cartec What do you guys think? Anyone bought this? Cheers Ryan
-
It definitely wont run properly, if at all, and its likely to blow something in the ecu up or the chip itself, but ur right you just need to line up the notch in the chip with the one in the socket! The notch indicates the end pin 1 is :)
-
Says in the owners manual 225km/h :rambo:
-
Hmm 140mph, I seriously doubt any standard ones do over 130 tho, the speedo might indicate 140 but on standard wheels thats only gonna be about 130. Mine struggled to do 130 standard...hits 140 on the gps now tho :multi:
-
Not me, but you can buy them off ebay for £12 delivered. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-RED-16V-BADGE-GOLF-POLO-MK2-JETTA-CORRADO-G40_W0QQitemZ4571322157QQcategoryZ9889QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

He means you need a 3.5bar fpr, and if its running lean without it you could do some serious damage to your engine :shocked!:

Hmm, those passats rwd then? -
Why didnt you just undo the 3 bolts in the wishbone to get the balljoint off? Also how did the front wishbone bolt come out?
-
35 miles to the tenner, 25mpg  thats some expensive petrol! But seriously 20mpg for my g60 is good the way I drive it
-
Odd, the way I see it is, it must be just the diaphram spring itself or the release bearing just squeaking on it, I assume you changed the spring and pressure plate and release bearing, and not just the clutch plate itself? Not that I'm worried about the noise but.. its just a bit strange :S
-
Tightened ;) Its prolly had it if its droning tho...
-
Just that I had to buy a new one, when I knew it needed overhaulling really, same thing happened to mine that has happened to Dan, idler eccentric shaft bearings I guess. Cant knock L&S Cartec tho, seems like a nice bloke, keeps u well informed, etc. http://www.ls-cartec.de/
-
Mine does that too, only when its hot :?
-
I've bought a charger from these , took about a week to come, €18 delivery, quality charger/rebuild tho, also bought a cam shaft from here too, that came quicker!
