    brakes for vr6?

The MK4 288's definately fit behind the speedlines, so one would assume the same is true for the solitudes...
  2. I would find some ex-Karmann chief mechanic/designer/all-round-god (he would probably have a beard) and build him a large workshop. I would then pay him huge amounts of money to make me a new Corrado with the specifications I require - R36, turbo, reliable sunroof etc. etc.
  3. LOL That is a good story. Car wash antics are always funny, everyone wants to get hteir car washed first and get out of there! Well done for taking an hour to do it.
  4. Number before speed rating is the load index. Shorter sidewalls will reduce your RR so your speedo will be wrong, go for 50's I reckon.
  5. Yep, I was talking about the owners manual. Tells you where a lot of the stuff under the bonnet is.
  6. Yeh PAS fluid, looks like yours might be low. Don't you have a manual?! :)
  7. Ahh, but then he'll never learn. :) Looking good Andy, cleans everything up a lot at the back taking the wiper off, not to mention the weight saving. ;)
  8. If someone can dig it out it could go on the next RR DVD.. :D
  9. If you want to spin that picture around you need to rotate it yourself then re-upload it to photobucket. :)
  10. All videos available are on Andi's Fast Purple Videos I think.

    Hello

Perhaps you two would like to do this via PM..?
  12. You're right, I was examining it only yesterday. :)
  13. ...feelin the love. :sunny: VR6, take note :-P

    nasty knocking

A few questions...Does it occur when you're turning left or right or neither? Does it happen more at low speed or at any speed? Is it a a loud clunk or a continuous tapping? It could be a few things.
  16. I thought they'd say something like that. Can you afford to do it?
  17. The Servicing Guide will give you an idea as to general maintenance required and what might go wrong. I've had my exhaust blow, leaking shocks & knackered ECU in the last 8 months of ownership. Apart from that its been a joy and I really don't mind spending the money as it feels like i'm restoring it rather than flogging a dead 'orse. C's are fairly high maintainance, they're getting on a bit, but if you look after them they can be un-problematic. :)
  18. Should've asked them how much it'll be... phone 'em back up quick! :)
  19. Henny's is impressive... http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewto ... c&start=15
  20. Carrying on from h100vw... I remember when all this were nout but fields... :-P
  21. LOL - Are you trying to make him cry?!
  22. If you get this one sorted and sell it you'd be better buying a G60/VR than getting another valver and doing an engine transplant, would be a bit of a waste of time & money IMO.
  23. Even better than that, look at this thread:- http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6277
  24. Good luck. :) bcstudent, as you say though he's young and the quotes going to be high whatever's under the bonnet! So it'll be hard to judge how good a deal it really is.. :?
  25. Ask Supercharged what his insurance is like, his is TDI.
