Think I paid £8 p/tyre at my local place & they kept the old ones. They also swapped my wheels round as well IIRC.
-
Don't worry, I didn't really want a green one when I was looking. Having now got one I wouldn't change it for any other colour apart from 'Ice Grey Violet'.
-
Welcome to the forum.. What's wrong with green ones?! ;) Or do you mean you want one that will destroy the environment?! Ok, check the CF Buying Guide it'll give you a good idea on what to look out for. Imposible to say which is better out of the two you've mentioned, depends how well it's been looked after etc. I wouldn't be put off too much by high mileage though.

Insurance on a VR6 wont be very cheap though! TDI might be a good idea...

Glad to hear you got the wiper off & motor out in the end... that motor really doesn't want to come out of there! :) -
They do look very nice and I wouldn't kick them out of bed for farting... but I prefer the RX's, IMO just more simple & less fussy.
-
Oh dear, still if you can get it sorted it'll be worth it. You can't put a price on a well running Corrado..! ;)
-
It sounds like misfiring to me, need to check all your plugs & leads.

Now Wikified. :)

I use http://www.mytyres.co.uk/ . Fairly speedy delivery and cheap tyres. :)

Well played mate. Did they give any solid indication of when we might see it or when it's going to be available? It is interesting about those pictures being fake, although quite un-Rocco-like I still thought it looked good. I also reckon it will have a hint of MK5/Passat front grill to it.

Don't worry Jim, I used to own a Saxo, 1.4 'Furio' to be exact. I had it for a year & it was great fun. Never had a single problem with it it passed its MOT with not a single problem. Don't get me wrong a Corrado is way better but Saxos aren't so bad, they get a bad rap. I also must add it was completely un modified...

ASA AR1 17x7 - 20.3lb BBS RX 17x7.5 - 20.9lb Impressive. The BBS is wider though, think the 17 AR1 only comes in in a 7. BBS RXII is 21.2lb http://www.wheelweights.net :)
-
Good price, wonder how much they weigh in comparison to BBS's...
-
Almost BBS RX/RX2 replicas! Nice though, those lines work well with the Corrado..
-
Yeh it'll be that or the thermal fuse. If its the copper then you can just clean it up and bend it forward/back so that it makes propper contact.. Mine is unfortunately the thermal fuse, already had one attempt and knackered the fuse with a soldering iron. Doesn't bother me much as I usually want the fan on or off and don't use the inbetween settings.

Good news. How long did delivery take? Just wondering because i'm getting my OBD2 TB from him.
-
LOL - I can picture him turning up in a Rocco printed shirt, tie, headscalf, watch, rubber... etc. etc.
-
Yep, recent discussion on wax and polishing available in this thread. Few comments from Zymol users in there.. :) Welcome to the forum.

Corrado Spotting! Was it you? [Archive January 06]

I was going to say that but I thought she was taking the pee! :) -
DAZ LEWIS, you can still delete your post that you posted in the What Colour is Your Corrado Thread (by accident I guess?) because no one has replied to it, you do it by clicking on the cross in the top right. :)
-
Did you buy that from GermanCustoms mate? Looks like you could eat your cereal out of it! :)

I am the only one who thinks the Corrado looks stupid.......
Trig replied to PhatVR6's topic in General Car Chat
I was gonna say, I bet there have been a few accidents caused by the Corrado spoiler moving up or down. I watched it in my rear view mirror for the first week or two. EDIT: Infact that's another thing, it makes what is already poor rear visibility into terrible rear visibility.
