Sold a few bits and pieces left over from my c's make over and have £250 to invest in the C. What should i treat myself too? Thinking about Eibach ARB's or Vibratechnics engine mounts. Any suggestions?

i found that nitromors dried out if you left it on for more than an hour.

as you can tell by looking around the carpark there's no car enthusiants at my work. :lol: I reckon its the dullest carpark i've ever seen for lack of even remotely interesting cars.

just been on vortex, guess the mags out now. thats the down side of a studio shoot, it doesn't really show the finish of the paint. I was offered a shoot in a quarry (same one as PVW's rallye) but i really wanted to do a studio shoot as i've never done one. As it turned out the day of the shoot it was pouring it down. The studio is actually a double garage on the back of a large semi detached house on a really bumpy uneven road with 2" deep puddles so the car was filthy and soaking wet (+260mile drive from leeds to sevenoaks). If you look under the car on pages 62-63 you can see the puddles of water the car brought into the studio. A20 LEE is still my only car but much as i'd like to use it all the time i can't as it obviously couldn't be left in a supermarket car park and its too higher risk a car to leave in a pub car park at night. Its a case of, if i think it will be safe i'll take it. If its not worth the risk its the bus. About time i took some new pics i think as its been nearly a year since i did the factory ones.

bit late spotting this thread. My car isn't perfect its a work in progress always has been and its my only car and is out in the wind and rain everyday and i don't even have a winter set of wheels. As Asim knows, i've bought loads of parts of him which i'm refurbing and chroming cross members/drive shafts and gearbox are on the way. After the notice PhatVR6 put on his car at VW Festival i'm really surprised by his comments, but i'm really not bother what anyone thinks of me or my car anymore. This is my hobby and i enjoy it, i build it for show n shine not the strip so its going to be bling isn't it, horses for courses. Took loadsa sh*t last year and i'll admit it hurt, but i've grow a thick skin since then as most will know i park my car at a show and walk away for the rest of the day so i don't hear alot of the comments.

Yep, i'm on OE recaro subframe. IIRC the scirocco ones are a straight fit too but probably even rarer.

Not true, law states wheels and tyres must be in good condition and not foul the bodywork.

Speaking of ad's i noticed that my car now appears in Performance solutions ad on page 112.

It is a little bit near the armrest as the shelf presses down on it there. I actually trimmed the backs of the rear seats myself as MJ was busy.

i get about 12.6V or 14.4V with the engine running.
