  1.  Lift's the handling to a whole new level you mean.
  2. really hope this goes to a good home. Its a beautiful car and i'd snap it up myself if i could afford a second C.
  3. bonrath make one, going to phone venom tomorrow to see if they can get me one.
  4. arrh, forgot about that. Fitting the valves is a tw*t, i had to grind down the diametre of a socket. To pump up the tyres you need a valve extender.
  5. needs a fatter front wheel i think
  6. just looking for a side on shot of my C for a spot of P'Shop :)
  7. you can get chrome corrado badges in a porsche script.
  8. Nearly forgot. They look silver but are actually polished and bright anodised. Considered stripping off the anodising(still might) so the finish is the same as the wheels but thought i could be making too much work for myself cleaning them and polished alloy stains very easily with water when hot. Quick change of subject, should i tint my windows? Thinking bronze/chomalux, silver/mirrored or very light smoke.
  9. the mk2 one with porsche rims. its been doing the rounds recently.
  10. Looks nice, the tyres are too big tho'. Toyo's?
  11. Need to get hold of some new wishbones (without bushes), do GSF sell them? Price? Can't be arsed with sanding down the secondhand ones i've got.
  12. I'll post a couple of pics tomorrow. Haven't really had chance to admire them myself with to rush to get the car ready for GTi Festival and the mag shoot. Think it should be OK to lean on them a little now and see what they can do :)
  13. must be this http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1876320&page=6
  14. Know exactly were your coming from. Mine was getting me completely stressed. The problem is the self imposed deadlines. Forgot them, work on it when you feel like it, stuff goes wrong. Have a break, figure it out then go back to it later. Keep it fun :!: My car was ment to be ready for elsecar last year, finally showed it a Tatton in august and the final show of the year was just three weeks later.
  15. Those things are much better than ZW1's. Mine are mint and i've had them since may 2000. My ZW1's are already getting the dreaded white vains around the bolts  .
  16. Have to wait till the second thursday in June
  17. Very true and a certain Ian Birch is often seen around there.... Gavin Ian Birch works for them
  18. Brentacre were the cheapest wheni was phoning around but if you go into detail there policies are rubbish. If you write off a modded car you are payed out the market value of a std car and they keep everything. With Adrian Flux and HIC they will give you the cost of a std car + the secondhand value of the mods and you get salvage retention so you get you parts back and you get agreed value on request. Ask Brentacre for agreed value and see the response!!!!. AF and HIC are more expensive but i felt their cover was worth the 10-15% if i ever had to claim, basically because they've agree to pay out more than double what brentacre were prepared too. You get what you pay for with insurance too...
  19. usually i've got a lot of time to think about mods until i can actually afford them, so they are pretty well planned before work starts. New avatar on the way
  20. Not sure i understand the point your trying to make.
  21. Thanks Guy's. Its was a very special weekend for me in which i forfilled a couple of lifetime ambitions. Firstly winning 5 awards at GTi Festival, a show in which you are judged by your peer's makes it mean so much. The second was doing a studio shoot with PVW. Having done shoots with a few magazines in the past, got to say, their brilliant. Usually the mags don't like you to see the pics til there in the mag. Elliot and Chris made sure i got to see the whole lot, i was really impressed how much work they put into the process and how much it must cost the mag to put a feature together.
  22. so why spend all that money on big shiny 4 pots?!?!? Just putting in the ground work for the engine development. And you know me and shiney bits.
