  1. Hi Andy, Great work - please could you put me down for an 4+4 one when ready.... Thanks Phil
  2. I had this a few months back too - although the engine didn't cut out...but the 15A fuse blew every time the rear spoiler went up or down. I operated the rear spoiler manually a few times (take the trim off the boot and there's a manual handle you can use to wind it up and down) then tried it with a 20A fuse and it worked fine, so then reverted to the 15A fuse and haven't had any further problems (touch wood!), so in my case think it might have been the spoiler motor getting jammed on something and tripping the fuse... worth a try! Afraid there's no real science behind this so the fix could be pure coincidence! Good luck!
  3. No worries - give me shout if you get stuck, but the instructions that daves16v sends with the part are pretty comprehensive!
  4. Would recommend daves16v door handle kit! Have just performed the same repair today and had it done in twenty minutes start to finish! The trickiest bit was working out that the first bolt that you need to undo on the end of the door and holds the handle in is actually a reverse thread and has to be undone clockwise! Good luck!
  5. Nerd detail appreciated! :)
  6. Hi - thinking about buying a first aid kit for my rado for the sake of completeness, so thought I might try and get an 'original' - does anyone know if this one is an original?? Otherwise will just end up going to the stealers / tescos... Cheers Phil
  7. Had the same problem of leaky rims with mine - took it to a tyre shop and cost £24 for two wheels to grind down the inside of the rims and get rid of the corrosion etc and refit / balance the tyres - been fine since...
  8. Try looking in the Suppliers Forum at Recommended garages - there's Stealth Racing the otherside of Northampton, but if you have a look in the above there's probably someone closer to you...Good luck!
  9. Have got a 94 VR6 in Storm Grey which has put a huge grin across my face every time I think about driving it....let alone when I'm actually in it! Got a few niggles to sort out but all in all it's in really good original condition, coming up to its 100k service in a couple of thousand miles... Cheers for the garage recommendation..
  10. Hi Have recently bought my first C and will need a service in the not too distant future - can anyone recommend a good specialist garage somewhere in / near the Peterborough area? Cheers Phil
