  1. Each to their own. I think the corrado wouldnt be so bad without the gold bonnet and other decals........
  2. I spent ages sat in the boot getting a sticker off the back window - only to totally bodge the new one I put in. :(
  3. Yes, I watched Steve at Pitstop do the whole thing. Took him about an hour to persuade it to come off, and when he took it apart, one of the ends of the channels in the scroll thingy had broke and the oil seal was just starting to feed its way out..........
  4. My charger was on 116k before its first service (not long after I bought it) - miracle!!!!!
  5. I don't use mine much, but I totally enjoy every minute of driving it when I do :D Mine was quite neglected when I got it - the oil that I drained out of it was pure liquid coal  but its fine now I've spent a bit on it.
  6. Yesterday I treated it to a tenners worth of petrol and a bittova blast :D

    Bodge Jobs

Gaffer tape on cracked fuel pump housing - on my mk2 when i bought it. Bicycle puncture repair patch on water hose (My bestest idea yet?!)
  8. My corrado stays nice and clean in the garage, with seatcovers for the occasional times when I do use it. Normally, the only passenger is my dog, and she's pretty good, except when she jumps on the dash to try and catch the wiper blades
  9. Mine is right next door to my mums house... ;)
  10. I rent a council garage - pokey but enough room for me (not a thin lass either!) to get in and out easily :) edit: see sig
  11. I'm with the AA - I get free cover as a perk of my bank account. You know, one of those perks they offer that you think you'll never use....... And then I bought a Corrado  They've been good so far - taken me to a garage further afield than they are sposed to and also towed me from home to a garage, even though technically I've not got that level of cover.
  12. Today I am mostly gonna be replacing a dodgy headlight bulb, taking it for a razz, and maybe polishing it ;)
  13. Today I mostly went for a nice long blast in mine :D
  14. Today, and in fact all this week so far, I have mostly fed it petrol and driven it to and from work :)
  15. A polo GTI would be cheaper to buy. I can vouch for fun factor :)
  16. Saw it at no rice in November i think? Me likey :)
  17. The view from my front door
  18. Good choice - fancied something 'layer cake' ish myself for a while ;) definitely on my next car list. try http://www.audifans.net ?
  19. What are you on about Adam? You can fit four alloys with tyres in the boot of a corrado  Congratulations!
  20. Heres mine: October 2004: November 2005: Although cosmetically, it mainly needed a good clean and polish when I got it - those wheels in the first pic were green in places
  21. thats rubbish :( tossers. report it at your local pig-station. i know they wont do anything, BUT the other driver has comitted an offence (take it this was on a public road?) and they might have your details and try to claim off of you for the damage to their car, if that makes sense? hope you get it sorted soon :)
  22. Have a gander here. Not all Corrados, but may give you an idea on which companies are worth ringing :)
  23. And if all it needs is the cambelt fitting, why not do it and sell a running car??? Surely that would make more sense?
