And once again, us Brits roll over and accept it... A lot of folk in other countries would never stand for it. I bet the French would go on strike if this happened over there, and the Yanks would just use them as target practice :) This country is riddled with cameras, I've driven in Europe many times (..where the roads are better, but thats another matter) and on returning to the UK, the first thing you notice is how many bloody cameras there are. Time for a revolution I reckon

My VR6 is on a classic policy, and I noticed the other nite that it says the car is only covered for theft & damage if the car is garaged when not in transit. So, if the car was stolen/damaged while I was visiting someone or parked at a show, the insurance wouldn't pay a penny.... What a joke! My fault for not reading the terms, but what sort of useless policy is that! Not worth the paper it's written on.

Chineese MK2 Jetta Dash. Interesting....
joebloggsVR69 replied to Pat_McCrotch's topic in General Car Chat
Another thing I've noticed is that it's slightly easier to turn the flap direction control when the blower's turned off. With regards to the chinese dash parts, you can't be sure the quality will be up to VAG standards. I wouldn't be surprised if their interior panels dont line up straight either -

I'm suprised that searching for 'ham' returns just 125 results. 'Cheese' has exactly double that.

NEW CORRADO FORUM INSURANCE SCHEME VIA CHRIS KNOTT INSURANCE
joebloggsVR69 replied to ChrisKnottIns's topic in Insurance
I remember ringing up during my renewal a couple of years back, (Flux or Chris Knott.. cant remember which) but the lady on the phone was a right miserable so and so... Told her I got a cheaper quote elsewhere and she told me that 'this isn't a dutch auction you know!' WTF! Well excuse me for ringing around to get a better quote... And I've never understood 'protected' or 'guaranteed' no claims. If, for arguments sake, I've made a claim, how do I know that come renewal time the price they quote is any diferrent to if I had not made a claim? :? -
You missed a bit
