  1. I think it's more because some pikey drove their Calibra into his corrado a couple of days ago!
  2. Not really - I got my chains/clutch/flywheel/suspension/brake disks fitted for about £550 last year :) I supplied all the parts though
  3. I saw that about a month ago! I'm guessing Chavs can't spell 'PEACE'
  4. You know there's 2 MFA settings? Setting 1 wipes after each trip, setting 2 records until it maxes out You need to flick the little switch to change MFA modes
  5. Sounds very much like it's the switch - my stereo was a bit tempremental if you played with the key Not anymore though :)
  6. Yeah, I tried to get an agreed value policy with 'em last year and they werent interested, so I went with Flux
  7. I'm 28  Have only been able to compare it to the standard suspension, haven't been in anyone else's C. to find out what their ride is like It handles really well - not much bodyroll when cornering at speed, but then again I can only compare it to the standard setup! They cost be £560 including VAT & delivery last March, in a group buy on E38.
  8. Yep, coilovers :) They're actually really good, doesnt feel bone-jarring or anything. I guess if I lowered it to it's max (120mm I think???) then the ride would be unbearable  Some owners prefer to stick on VW caps to be true to the posters! These wheels were on the MK3 Golf too, and they had VW caps IIRC
  9. Anyone watch it last night? (..or the repeat this evening) Was hilarious watching them with their amphibious vehciles
  10. It's on Konigsport Silverline-X Yeah, it's got BBS caps. I think the Storm posters had 'em with VW caps, but they were actually sold with BBS caps :?
  11. Here's mine, -50mm at the back, -35mm at the front
  12. You can change it yourself, but getting to it's a bit tricky. New ignition switch is ~£25 from VW. Dont buy a crappy GSF one!! You'll need a long thin screwdriver (jewellers type, Halfords, Homebase etc sell them) The screw is a b4stard to get to, so good luck! :) There's a guide here: http://www.the-corrado.net/wiki/index.p ... eplacement
  13. Hmmm.. I'm sure mine had similar symptoms last year - new ignition switch fixed it
  14. One of the bulbs might be dead
  15. I managed to get over 50mpg. For about 5 seconds! (Well I cheated, I reset the MFA while coasting down a hill... )
  16. I had quite the opposite thing happen to me a couple of weeks ago. Was in a petrol station and left my keys in the ignition - the bloody alarm kicked in; total closure and then armed itself while I was outta the car... :x
  17. Nice :) I get about 230 miles to a tank  But then again I drive on busy London roads.. :(
  18. New car battery needed  I've had this happen to me a couple of times since I've had the car! (also got a conlog system..)
  19. BBC2 tomorrow night, isnt it? 7pm IIRC
  20. It'll probably invalidate your insurance too - standard wheels with the incorrect size tyres
  21. Aaaaaaaah Bounds Green! I live 5mins away, off Colney Hatch lane :D
  22. Nice car 8) Last time I read this thread I was going to ask if you lived in Southgate (or thereabouts) Houses are a dead giveaway!
