  1. Sound. I'll have passenger side. Can you please pm details? Cheers
  2. I'll take a look tomorrow :) just redesigned vr6oc.com to work on all all browsers with responsive design for iPad /iPhone etc... All CSS / html5 and jquery!
  3. safari all the way at home for me (Macbook Pro) but work's machine is IE 9... there's actaully a few rendering issues on IE 9... * The Search box overlaps page numbers * login bar (Welcome {username}) overlaps the title of the thread * signatures sit right under the posts - no padding, butwould have expected them to align with the bottom of the post DIV. Pete
  4. I need a passenger side if you have one? dont suppose you have screws too? Cheers Pete
  5. looking good Andi... although text style in the login box is black, which makes it difficult to see what youve typed with it being a black background :) IE 9
  6. Looks like a bonrath power rhor thing :) got one on mine too... Looks good if nothing else! Lol
  7. I think that's down to the forum logging you out issue... Not sure how to clear cookies in tapatalk but I suspect deleting and reinstalling tapatalk would do the trick :) probably just a temp thing while DNS servers update etc...
  8. much better... might want to add a redirect for direct.thecorrado.com back to the main site if not already done for those who have it saved in their favouries...
  9. I cant wait to drive it to be honest :) been too long since I drove my last VR6! fitted my brushed metal gear surround - Top work Dave!
  10. Love that... quick question - how have you got an illuminated gearknob? :)
  11. Excellent. I still found I had issues until I reverted my DNS NS back to the ones of my ISP, but will see how things go...

Got my hella for 115 delivered to my door... Good fit and seems good quality!
  13. Well..... Lol... The refurbed box w/3.68 FD that I should have fitted before Christmas was stolen from where it was built! I've just secured a new gearbox and currently looking for a new 3.68 FD to fit! Typical eh? But, I have previously had 3.68's in my mk2 and mk3 VR's and love them! :)
  14. What about the karmann badge that sticks on the gear surround?
  15. Ah I'm glad I'm almost there now with the whole car! Only taken nearly 3 years to get her road worthy again with some tweaks along the way, but to be fair it was in a real state when I got it and knew exactly what I was up against!! I did take a month off over Christmas though and was a good time read up on my issues! Cannot wait get last few bits sorted and hopefully soon I'll be listening to the sweet note of a vr6 under my right foot once again :) Paint code is L041, I did have it detailed last year but is covered in dust and crap again.. Going treat her to a nice cover soon...
  16. its been a while since my last update... but rest assured, I've kept working on the OBD2 stuff... Got my ECU back with a raised limiter too! (Thanks Vince @ Stealth) fitted it all in, and it fired first flick of the key! Here's a complimentary video :) First impressions.... so much smooother, almost worth all the pain of the conversion..... It wasn't without its problems though, and soon noticed the temp gauge wasn't working, and the aux water pump wasn't running and fans were not kicking in as they should... After looking at various wiring diagrams (thanks Dave and Vince @ Stealth) soon identified where the problem came from... we had forgot to connect the 2 wires to the aux pump, and there were a few issues in the fuse box which was the cause of the fans not running... We verified that all stages were working, only strange thing was that birding the 2 pins on the yellow sensor didn't kick in the fans in as it used to do... but as all 3 fan speeds were kicking in when they should, i was happy with this... The only problem was the temp gauge in the cluster was not reading! managed get hold of some golf GTI mk3 clocks as the temp gauge is on the same circuit as the corrado and quickly identified the fault was with my cluster, so I currently have a new temp gauge in the post with a view of replacing the respective gauge in my cluster... Happy days.... I also fitted a new drivers side hub as the one on the car was "mashed" and was difficult to get a wheel on that side of the car... such a simple job turned into an hour as the bolts for the brake disk shield sheered off my new hub.... some jiggery later we got it all hooked together and called it a night..... Next mission was to find a place to swap my tyres over onto my new speed lines :) easer said than done around these parts and without going to a national tyre place on a Sunday! so, after several cheese oatcakes managed to find somewhere to swap them over... was slightly worried as none of the guys actually spoke any english, but they had all the various snap on machines so took the risk! all swapped over, noticed the rear wheels didn't have any weights on them! LOL They tried to say you don't need to balance rear wheels.... I just told them to do it!!! muppets! fitted the new wheels to my Corrado! I think they look pretty good! fired it up again and the bloody ABS light was on arrrrggggh! turned out the ABS sensor in the new hub was chuffed! Tried to extract the old sensor from my knackered hub as it looked new, unfortunately it snapped.... ordered a new one.... just need to fit it now! Also had a sneaky peak at new VR6OC banners that came that weekend too! Tided up all the loose wires and re-routed my alarm cables, wrapped into my newly created loom for neatness... ran out of loom tape so just need to finish wrapping I got more from Audi... 2 rolls for 6 quids I t bought was reasonable... Ordered a few bits of the VW classic parts thread.... glovebox strip and rear VR6 badge :) soooo only jobs that remain: 1) find the wires to my glove box bulb holder! will need remove glove box for this! 2) fit ABS sensor 3) fit rear VR6 badge 4) Finish wrapping last bit of engine loom 5) Shotblast / respray my new slam panel 6) replace temp gauge in cluster 7) buy petrol and MOT! Happy days.... so glad its nearly there.... already got plans for phase 2.... more power and bodywork! Thoughts / comments welcome !
  17. Managed find original video... Sounds amazing
  18. I'd be interested in the number plate light cover too
  19. You can always whip your header tank off and let it sit lower in your engine bay too while you do your work...
  20. Ahh, yeah it will retart the map when they kick in... so you will be down a bit :) I managed sort my fan issues out and got a new temp guage on the way too, so pretty much all wrapped up now in regards to the OBD2 stuff... :)
  21. Looking good Dave, did you manage sort your knock sensor out?
  22. Don't appear to be able view the first video anymore - any idea where I might still be able view it?
