  1. Oxford is a little far for me i'm afraid :( Would be willing to pay for your trouble and postage if your panel is good :)
  2. I'm after a good bit of inner panel that surrounds the fuel tank filler neck. I've already got the outer section, but just want to have an inner section just incase this needs replacing too... Cheers Pete
  3. Good work buddy - I thought the sensor on the crank case breather pipe was a dummy? I dont even have mine connected up... Pete
  4. Hi Tim, Can you please pop up some pics? only problem is that its a little far for me to collect mate, if I bough it, and covered posts - would you ? Cheers Pete
  5. [#10342] We could not determine which forum this topic is in. and theres no way im signing up to a website full of trailer queens :)
  6. what are the benefits of a catch tank?
  7. over the years of being involved with VR6OC.... I've seen a handful of chain failiures / stretching and jumping teeth... it does happen, probaby seen about 6 - 7 instances over the lat 7 years...
  8. Put the rubber in, lube up your bonnet stay, stick it in... Had to point mine in line with the passenger mirror, went straight in mate in under a minute....
  9. They are bespoke ones Dave made up for me along with some other bits... I dont belive Dave currently offer these for sale on sale to the masses... im sure he can only say no if you dropped him a PM :)
  10. look inside, and soon you'll see, pin 22 looking at me...
  11. OEM lines are no longer available. so, its either copper, or get the chap on here, who is very good by the way, I've had a few made up and they are spot on. and look very OEM... Its quite common to round off the unions, I had 3 that rounded off when fitting my goodridge hoses.... Pete
  12. most of the automatic gearboxes last upto about 65 - 68k...
  13. looks like there are a couple of trim items missing inside, handbrake cover is one i can see first off... As above, arrange viewing, maybe worth while checking that the ABS light comes on and goes out on starting the car, check all electrics and have a look under the car too... interior looks nice though, check for any coolant leaks, and that aux water pump etc... works :) ive youve had a VR6 before, then you'll know all the usual stuff to look for..
  14. Looks ok. check for usual stuff like timing chains, and if head gasket has been done... the rust on the back seem should be sorted out ASAP, could possibly need some new panel welding in...
  15. Could do with a few of those actually mate :)
  16. Not been able get on the site all day via the main URL - having to use direct.thecorrado URL. Surely it's not a good thing for people trying to reach the website?

    3.68 final drive

What does hot golf charge for the 3.68 build?
  18. Had a listen to your video.... on tickover sounds normal, but sounds top end (tappets) like to me... other symptons sounds like critical_mass has said, stem seals, replaced mine when doing the head gasket and timing chains last year.
  19. I think this is the norm with kids these days, my neighbours car was ran over by some 14 year old kid... twice. managed catch the little scum bag and police were called.... parents are paying for the damage but personally I would involve them so its logged and to teach the little begger a lesson.... doubtful the parents are going to do feck all if the father hasnt delt with him initially. bit of a cop out response to speak to his mum...

    3.68 final drive

Had a G60 FD in both of my previous VR's... makes a massive different, power at your foot all the time, and no need to drop a gear :) I was having one fitted to my corrado the other week but some scum stole the gearbox i had rebuilt from my mates shed!
  21. 3.68 final drive is what you want to make your VR special :)
  22. LOL at freeserve :) brings back many memories of my dialup days...
