All I'd say is that the 1.8T engine is the same as the one used in the era-Passat and Toledo... my wife has the latter and while not really a problem for what we use it for it's not the most economical 1.8 I've ever driven and consistently begs for revs - potentially the easiest car to stall I have ever come across! :? Other than that, they're a winner for the money - Dad's recently picked up a 110bhp 02-plate TDi to run him about and he's loved it so far... and to add to CazzaVR's comment, this one came with a towbar :)

Which is exactly what I did too... have to admit that the Prancing Horse has gone a bit lame at the moment though - Legard mentioned it was the team's worst start in 28yrs during Sunday's coverage :? Time for a fantasy team re-think...

The ability to manipulate the scores and positions after the event is certainly making a mockery of the sport... it doesn't happen anywhere else - did the score get adjusted after Diego's hand-ball?! With the diffuser row still pending until after this weekend's race, there's still the possibility (albeit doubtful) that Brawn, Toyota and Williams could be excluded for technical infringements... so, if you take them out of the picture too, there would be only be 7 classified finishers from the Oz GP: 1. Alonso 2. Buemi 3. Bourdais 4. Sutil 5. Heidfeld 6. Fisichella 7. Webber Who would want to 'inherit' a victory when they finished 5th? :cuckoo: There need to be some solid development of the FIA rulebook including a clause that states that in the event that an investigation is necessary, no race outcome can be changed more than an hour or so after the race. :bad-words:

I hooked up the same album the weekend before last too - prompted by a re-watch of an old Top gear from 2006 where Foil from the Amber album cropped up during the Koenigsegg CCX review... Amber's probably still my fave Autechre album, closely followed by Tri Repetae, played at night on a long and quiet motorway 8)

...not me, as it also adds around 30kg to the cars weight for it's lifetime :nono: :lol:
