i'm glad it is... what the hell happened there!!! the last 3 races have all been won by non-championship crown contenders... still Massa and Hamilton both made their own luck in Japan. Mooks the pair of 'em!
-
flamin' 'eck... Glock's been the fastest bod in Practice this morning. could be another form book upsetter over the weekend!
-
stitch up!!
-
well, before the race is even over i can safely say I've gone Eurovision... i think i'm on for "nil points"! can we have a new smiley for bent-over-a-barrel-and-stuffed-six-ways-from-sunday :(
-
point taken... but I anticipated the Right Hand Ban-Button of Doom from Mods if I took it too far
-
how about...
-
...Jim you may need to add "spectacularly" in brackets  Here's a quick go...

aren't super unleaded and V-Power the same thing?
-
has anyone found a garage that IS doing it today?
-
it's probably about time there was a "what wheels" thread where everyone posted pics of different rims on 'Rados so that the rest of us can get an idea of what they look like on the car... ...of course at this point i expect a Mod to come back and tell me such a thing already exists and i've not looked properly!
-
i'll bet the tight little oiks who run the two stations near me won't do it... plus the C's got £40 worth in it at the moment anyway after an aborted trip to the Ace Cafe last weekend :(
-
okay, so there were 6... one destroyed by VW, one destroyed by Karmann and one in Karmann's basement. so what's the skinny on the other 3?
-
I noticed that SEAT are pulling out of the BTCC in 2009 too... shame since they've only just got their oil-burners sorted in the '08 championship. I guess the crunch has reached them too as some reports suggest that it'll save them £3m straight away!
-
that'll be 'the hobbit of F1' then (he's the shorter of the two blokes  )

+1. I've been a Ferrari fan since I was old enough to say 'red' and 'car' in the same sentence and really thought Raikkonen was going to hang on until the end - but 3 races in a row the Horse has faltered in the dying laps of a race, which has made the whole Championship liven up a bit. Yes, Hamilton may have done the bare minimum in letting Kimi back through after the chicane c*ck up - but ultimately he had the better car and lady luck on his side when it came to reaching the flag. Despite that fact I'll get better points in the Fantasy League than if the original result stood, the demotion decision is unmitigated ar$e and robs the sport of any shreds of integrity it may have been clinging to.

i'd say get a multimeter on it and find out if there's a power feed or resistance problem before you go spending the pounds then...
-
you'll have to literally pull the heater dial off to get to the copper strip... alternatively, depending on how old your C is, it may mean removing the slider controls and fascia to get to the connections. the other consideration is whether the resistor pack on the blower itself has blown/burnt out. on mine i had to remove the passenger side lower section of the dash to see the blower - the resistor pack is mounted on the side of it and is notorious for failing - typically leaving you with only one or no blower setting. as you'd expect you can't buy the correct resistor pack anywhere anymore, so find a scrap yard and have one away (the blower is the same on the Mk1 Seat Toledo too).

if this is the case then, in my best Cartman voice, "I respect your authoritaaaaaaaa!!" :salute:
-
the pick-up, cabrio and not-pictured but previously discussed super-one-off 16v G60 are all in Karmann's private collection in Osnabruck... and will be seen in the flesh (metal?) by our compatriots who have ventured to the 'Ring this weekend when they 'drop by' the Home of the 'Rado on the way back. the jammy goits!!

Passat CC from £21,065 according to VW UK website... so, less than a Golf R32 (by £1435) and more than a new Scirocco (by £125) - not that space/practicality wise it's even in the same market... making this a fairly useless comparison on my part  :cuckoo:
-
well, i guess you needed a new pair after the towers in your avatar came down. were they straight off the shelf in Halfords or special order?
-
...and if they follow the Phaeton model they'll be affordable within 3yrs!
-
gah! hope it's only a sensor Kip as otheriwse it's the dreaded ABS Pump as it was with mine :gag: Oh Heck! hope so too then in that case, must get it checked with a VAG.com to see if it'l pick it up. How much was it to do the pump then? :| according to a friend with a VR Golf it's around £1500 from a Stealers... or a sensible £40 if bought from KADVR6 at Prescott :D
