...to be fair one of the awards comes from the well known and universally publicised 'Fort Worth Gay and Lesbian International Film Festival'... WTF :?
-
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0323120/ ...it won 6 awards apparently?!!? Presumably all for most realistic porcupine death :gag: oh, and for all you weasel haters... spread the love: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=jEOAh9RDIfI

Dear Mod folks, Please can we have a custom shortened version of the smiley used in the above post, losing the 'without' and 'pics!' banners for use in this thread? Love, Sir Jazz of D'Evil

i know, but i was too new to the Forum to appreciate/associate the fabled Renshawmobile... i guess it's my way of saying, if i could have afforded it there'd be a familiar G60 nugget about 30ft from me right now :)

With Andy's car being one of the most well known on the Forum in recent years, it seems only fitting to mark it's passing with a (mini) pictorial obituary... pre-carbon spoiler days: stanford '08: well done on a great car! :salute:

we need to introduce Forum awards... this thread vs. the motivator for best-thread-of-the-year

i quite like that new, lower front end... but the tilted headlamps remind me of the current Peugeot crop :)

what about the scuttlebutt reports that Hamilton's friend since childhood karting, Timo Glock, "fell off" the track when he realised Lewis was not going to get back past Vettel? ...is there an 'adding fuel to the fire' smiley?
-

top gear, Sunday 8pm repeated wednesday 7pm BBC2

+1... although, I'm betting Kovalainen will fast-start into Alonso first... Trulli and Raikkonen will clash, the rain will turn up and mask Felipe's tears as he spins off at home and Hamilton will win. Whatever happens, while I support the "red cars" as I have since I was a wee lad, I thinks Hamilton will have to have an absolutely abysmal day to not take the Championship. If the stewards intervene I want no messing, just a full on arm-wrestle for the championship with no mediation  Then the TG boy's rallying HGV's, seeing how many Lancia's you can make out of a Challenger tank, testing the Ludicrous-MF12 DHZ or whatever will round off my day with humour and a token sting of journalism :salute: -

:offtopic: they may have done something, but i wasn't aware of specific agricultural stuff... certainly they made (and still make) a lot of trucks - they've been a big part of the Dakar: ...and when they folded their car production in 1997 they were the 3rd oldest car manufacturer after Peugeot and Benz! -

according to a mate at the Beeb, the summer season always tends to be 6 episodes, where the autumn/winter one is usually 10-12... no idea why :? i know they're doing an Eastern Bloc segment this series as they contacted the Tatra Register UK (which i edit the newsletter for) to see if we could loan them a car for the test. the chairman's T-603 was duly dispatched to them last monday, but as Ian handed over the keys they told him that they'd already decided the car that 'won' the test was a Skoda... ...which removes a bit of the myth again :confused4: if anyone's still awake reading this, we have the same car on our stand at the NEC in a fortnight :) -
i take it there's no penalty for ineffective* or impinged headlamps then?!!? *yes, more ineffective than standard 'rado lamps :)

niiiice, looks great slammed on those rims! oh, wait................. :)

i'm not sure who Mr. Beddows is... but on the grounds that we have the same points, yet you are placed higher: DAMN YOU!!

i'm glad it is... what the hell happened there!!! the last 3 races have all been won by non-championship crown contenders... still Massa and Hamilton both made their own luck in Japan. Mooks the pair of 'em!
