Have we now forsaken the mighty badger?!??!

I believe your use of the word 'quality' may be open to significant challenge under very little scrutiny :)
-

top gear, Sunday 8pm repeated wednesday 7pm BBC2

I meant the 911, 944 etc, not those communist heaps. no worries, i realised what you meant... it was more of a comment around the irony that the Beeb/TG would pay good money for some stuff (here's our £10k supercars that are fekt!) and far less for others (here's 50p and a Pot Noodle, ya chump!) -
Aaaah c*ck. Good shout - i'll give it a check! That's my weekend sorted then...

no sheet... i wouldn't lend them my pushbike for £50, so i can't understand why anyone would lend them their pride and joy for that money... especially if it's presented back to you in less than the condition you handed it over in :cuckoo: -
...as above, sadly this thread bears no relation to that top Muppets band :? Last week I started getting a weird feedback style squeal from the N/S/R speaker when I'm driving... I was still well under 50mph in traffic and spoiler was down, so not linked to the spoiler motor (presumably). I didn't have lights on or from memory the stereo... but rear was still sounding off like a mouse in a mangle, which it's continuned to do today too :( ...then, this morning the C was a little hesitant to start and sounded off the alarm as I tried to start it (prob. a sign of partial discharge in the cold as it's not been driven in 10 days). When I left work it didn't want to start at all and then the horn kicked in and stayed jammed on as I drove home, looking very much like the rush-hour c*ck, waving frantically in a vague attempt to say "honestly, i'm not really a t*at... I have no control over this". :confused4: :nono: :mad2: I have to admit, when it comes to electrics I am beyond numptiness... I can re-wire a plug or change a bulb, but my skills very much end there. Anyone have any similar experiences which could point me in the right direction? Are the two faults likely to be linked or separate? Should I just lay the car up for the winter and forget it?? Damn it. Thanks. ...and for the record, yes - Dr. Teeth and The Electric Mayhem were fab

on a curious note, i know the owners of a couple of the cars supplied for the Communist car feature and can tell you that the Beeb paid the owners the princely sum of £50 for borrowing the cars for the feature (filmed in early Oct) as the show 'had a budget'! the owners were also dished out a couple of tickets to the studio filming last week... the cars still had bits of tape and the like on them from camera mounts and when they were returned and one was also allegedly damaged :ignore: -
welcome to the forum  it looks like a very well kept car - fine job on those wheels too!

Interesting way of hunting down scum...
jazzdevil replied to NottsCounty's topic in General Car Chat
it's LHD and another auto :gag: ...but moreover it doesn't have Edition 30 badging or the golfball gearknob, so could it be *shock* *horror* another Lapland-esque trading-standards-curiously-can't-seem-to-touch-you regular GiT?? -

yup, full points for tenacity and thinking laterally then! i know someone who drives an exact duplicate of that car and this is the only other 5dr white Ed.30 i've seen. I'd best let him know... -
Is this the rarest Rado in existence today ?
jazzdevil replied to 2corrados's topic in General Car Chat
what 16vG60?? ...this isn't the 'Rado you're looking for, you can go about you're business... move along! :dorky: -
how old is he now?... about 109? by the time he's worked out what a keyboard is and typed "go, go, go!" it'll be the end of the season  ...and what's all this cock from Bernie about introducing a medals system instead of points, so that only the top 3 finishers score anything and the championship is decided on who has the most golds?? surely non-top 3 teams are just going tell him to poke it???? :cuckoo:
-
how are we gonna here him on there???

..be careful what you wish for folks - it seems that Murray will be back (sort of), and that the BBC has kept Ted Kravitz in the mix as well... http://www.pistonheads.com/motorsport/default.asp?storyId=19028 so happily...

Hmmm... I'll always regret posing for that picture :)

...as much as Blundell (and his lack of basic English grammar/sentence construction) annoys me, if he doesn't go to the Beeb with his ol' mucker Brundle, there will be no more of this: http://www.sniffpetrol.com/category/detective-inspector-blundell/ :lcop:

that pic reminds me, i'm out after work tomorrow night :D
-
yeah, Coulthard inflicting his un-aerodynamic bonce on an unsuspecting pit-lane is almost a tragic as watching his single lap qualifying and equally single lap races :) still, since Brundle's been his manager for so long, I guess they come as a set... although it's a set that in a Panini sticker style I'd be straight out going "Brundle - got, Chin-head - swap"
