they all just look at you funny when you wave at them... probably think I'm taking the piss. I used to think the same about corrados when I drove my Golf, but lately I've even had some rados wave back at me in my lowly mk3 polo!! -
They never give a wave back. bastards.

If the car is lowered on standard arches then the rears will catch on 8's. you sure they're et25? My replica porsche wheels are et60, and with the hub adapter fitted they become et35. An et25 wheel with a hub adapter is going to be around et0?? (Maybe I'm getting my et's mixed up here....) I'm probably not the most qualified to answer... wait for someone who knows what they're talking about to answer!!

mine wont lock from inside either. I wanted the central locking linked to the alarm to lock when I started the car, but the shop said that the feed to the central locking would have to be cut into as their is no live to the pump when the ignition is on.

are they 'modifyable' to put bulbs behind?? Is that why you had yours off?

Late spec VR mirror adjusting switch, the direction arrows light up, but the two push in buttons don't.. Are there bulbs behind them? The letters look like they are clear, so do I take the handle off and put new bulbs in? Thanks Rob

I've used Spit and Polish to do my tear drops on the polo, and the 15in Pirelli P's before that... they also repaired one of my RH's as they were damaged when they arrived. http://www.spitandpolish.co.uk They collect from lots of wheel shops. I paid £200 all in for my 15in P's to be acid dipped, podercoated and then the faces diamond cut. Same price for my 14in Teardrops for the same process as the P's. My RH is flawless and you'd never know it had been refurbed.

If you think the brakes on a rado are bad, you should try driving a mk3 polo! I've done some impressive 'emergency stops' in the rado after dring my G!!! Wouldn't mind a set of 312's though as I drove a mates Fabia VRS with some on (albiet only round a car park) but was very impressed. Maybe it was just the initial 'bite' being harder like said above.. Although they would fill my 17's better!!!

But he'll still end up with the side markers changing just the fogs... I'd want to get rid of them ugly little lights if I had a US spec car.

My mate used to have a dubweiser one like that. Hooked round the top ot the suspension. I dont lik ethat sort personally. Have read bad things about them too. I might take the RaidHP rear brace out of my Golf and put in the C. My Eibach front brace will definately be fitted to the C at some point over the winter when I detail the engine.

I chased one to 140mph and then bottled it. He must have been going well over 155mph!! Have we all been racing the same one?? Or is it in the terms when you buy one that you have to boot it everywhere???
