Koni UK do deal with the public - but under the name "Camberley Auto Factors". Koni UK Technical Centre seem quite happy if you just turn up and pay cash...

"Balance weight" 357 711 188 A and; "Double hex-head bolt" 357 711 234 A. Both parts used on 88-97 Passat You may also find the following beneficial if you have an early car: "Gearshift lever" 357 711 051 D "Relay lever" 1h0 711 202 A "Carrier relay lever" 1J0 711 256 Fitting these last 3 may also require: "Abutment" 357 711 789 C "Hexagon head bolt (combi)" N 101 069 02 "Grommet" 357 711 798 "Spacer" 357 711 795 All parts from 88-97 Passat with the exception of the 1h0 (Mk3 Golf) and 1j0 (Mk4 Golf) numbers. -
It'll fit, but the springs on the front will be a bit softer than a VR6 setup from the same manufacturer. Still likely to be stiffer than standard VR6 items though.

128.9lbft@5800rpm. It makes over 110lbft from 3000rpm up. It feels a lot stronger, but I don't have a standard set of figures to compare it with. All this without a K&N panel filter as well... :D

No - that the flame trap for the breather of the cam-cover.

Idle Stabilisation Valve...

Under the rear plug-lead guide, a little to the right of the throttlebody.

As I keep saying: Kent GF1602R cams are the business...

The calipers are interchangeable bteween 288mm and 312mm - it's the carriers that differ. Not sure what that means in terms of offset though...
-
The pads would be off the edge of the disk...
-
Ahhh... Seem to be several types of caliper-carrier listed.
-
Interesting - are the ftont uprights on your car from a VR6 or one of the 4-cylinder models? How thick a washer are we talking about as well?
-
Nice....

Renapur... For cleaning - use mild soap and either a tooth-brush or nailbrush.
-
Calipers are the same - it's the carriers that are different.

Calipers/carriers, disks, pads and hoses from any 312mm equipped Golf Mk4/Seat Leon/Audi TT (A3/S3 might also work, but need to check). You'll need spacers (high-tensile steel) of between 5-7mm to fit between the front uprights and the caliper carriers. If you go for 7mm (as sold by AMD if you ask nicely) you might also want to source some longer bolts as there's only ~10mm of thread left (theoretically enough with a safety margin, but more is better). 288mm are much less hassle - they bolt straight on.
-
Now with a picture. Wheels are 16" Audi A3 Turbo items. A good inch of clearance to the inner face of the wheel - which is good when you consider that the original calipers needed 3mm spacers to allow the wheels to turn...

Telephone Attenuator on head unit - how does it work?
Mike Edwards replied to Nick_Micouris's topic in ICE 'n' Secure
I have the remains of a lead for a Sony head-unit that does just that - but you probably need an autoelectrician to make it work. -
Failure to disconnect the battery before trying to remove it at a guess. As I was after the ultrasonics and the remotes it's no biggie - they're fine. I anyone wants a f. loud Laserline siren - without the option to mute it  - I now have a spare. I worry about the state of the car it was removed from though - there are bits of the car's loom still attached to the wires for the immobiliser circuits...

The tracks are certainly fix-able...
